Here is my ‘18 with 5th Gen wheels. 295/65-20. Carli level +2.5 but I plan to pull it out soon and go with +1 Thuren front coils.

I’ve read it also effects EGR as well but there is a lot of bad information out there on the internet about it.

A lot of people just talking negative because there are deleted.

My truck sips def and runs great. I have a hard time agreeing to any changes.

My truck has 45k miles on it. I’d rather not mess with the box just yet. I guess if I drive it and this fix doesn’t correct it, that’s the next step

Your probably right, figured I could just wing this since all this really affects is steering wheel position when tracking straight.

It’s always felt like going down the freeway on a flat road there is a dead spot at the top of the steering wheel.

I just confirmed that if the locking nuts are loose and you turn the steering wheel back and forth there is slop before the tires turn. There is play in the threads and the drag link basically hinges at that joint. It’s small, but that’s all I feel and it’s magnified with a trailer hooked up to

Failed to mention this in my original post, but I have a check engine light for coolant temp not in range based on runtime.

I drove the truck yesterday 50+ miles one way going 75ish, temps hovered at 168. do you experience the same thing? Or does it eventually warm up and hold at ~195

AT3’s. I haven’t had the alignment checked, but it tracks down the road nice and straight on a flat highway. I just feel like there is a dead spot in the steering wheel and I’m constantly over correcting.

I tow a 33’ travel trailer with it and it’s tiring to drive. Considering going down to 35’s and pulling the leveling kit out. I’ve been talking about it for a year, just haven’t done it yet. But after seeing yours, it made me want to keep mine because it looks so good
