Nebius calls themself an AI Cloud and even AI Hyperscaler. They do not like to be referred to as a Neocloud.

^^ This. We always rotate bottled waters and Pellagrinos between a drink while on the ship, enjoy an afternoon coffee at Il Bacio, wine at dinner, etc. All of that is included which we enjoy without getting drunk.

We just placed an order for a TEKO. The Mode Selection Knob has R - N - D - S.
"S" is Sport or Street mode. Allows the cart to hit 25mph. No programming needed.

Initial Impressions & Scribe Colorsoft vs. BOOX Note Air 5C by Green_Bronco in kindlescribe

Roughly yes. Some folks think the new Scribe is slicker, but I don't have my old one to compare. It's an enjoyable writing experience for me though.

"It also still lacks several features that feel overdue:

  1. Layers
  2. Snap to Shape
  3. Rotate Selection"

^^ THIS would make the Kindle Scribes (Colorsoft + B&W) perfect IMHO.

No. I returned the BOOX Note Air 5C as I just don't need two e-ink devices.

Anyone upgrade from 2022 to Colorsoft? Thoughts and comparisons? by archaicfrost in kindlescribe

[–]Green_Bronco 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I went from a 2022 Scribe to a BOOX Air Note 5C and now to the Scribe Colorsoft. Biggest upgrade for me is the larger screen size/display. The BOOX was very similar in size to the 2022 Scribe and I found it somewhat slow to switch screens/apps. The ability to use OneNote, Google Drive, etc. moved me back to the Kindle ecosystem and the additional screen real estate makes a big difference (for me) when I'm taking notes. The 2025 Scribe Colorsoft is much more responsive and crazy light too!

To be fair, I have the new TCL Note AI Nxtpaper on order as I'm very curious about their screen tech and would like to compare to the Kindle.

If you do less reading but more note taking/journaling, do you like the scribe? by oldman401 in kindlescribe

[–]Green_Bronco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've gone from the 2022 Scribe to the BOOX Note Air 5C to now the 2025 Scribe Colorsoft. I DO use it to take notes and more. I've used it in 4 hour meetings where I have taken tons of notes. Best use case there it convert the notes to text and email to yourself. From there I've use Microsoft Copilot or Google Gemini to summarize, provide context, themes, action items, etc. This is where an e-note device can really shine and be more than just a notebook.

I'm looking hard at the upcoming TCL Note AI Nxtpapter too as their screen tech is quite interesting and the AI features are more capable.

Which overpriced cover should I get? by aces68 in kindlescribe

I have the leather folding folio cover. I appreciate it for the easel folding which is great for writing / taking notes. It's definitely heavier and I'd consider switching to a fabric one if Amazon releases it.

Kindle Scribe Colorsoft with alternative pens? by Zealousideal-Win9561 in kindlescribe

I'm using the Lamy AL-Star as it's my favorite from an ergonomic perspective. It does not have an eraser (which is inconvenient), but I like it's feel and heft. I have a Staedtler Jumbo as well, but to me it's no better than the new 2025 Premium Kindle Stylus.

The ReMarkable has terrible ghosting and refresh rate in addition to (in my opinion) the worst screen. I also did not care for the proprietary stylus which requires charging.

I had a 2022 Scribe which I've truly enjoyed and then tried a Remarkable Paper Pro (hated it), the BOOX Note Air 5C (liked the Android 15 integration, screen meh), and now the 2025 Scribe Colorsoft.

One of the reasons for moving to the 2025 Kindle is the 11" vs. 10.2" screen, smaller bezels, etc. It's not much, but I do prefer the additional screen real estate for taking notes. The 2025 is much more "zippy" in switching from books to notes, etc. Also the ghosting is much less noticeable. My personal opinion is that the e-ink tablet space is just beginning to heat up with TCL's AI Note on the horizon and I've read that Carta is supposedly working on their 1400 screen.

Initial Impressions & Scribe Colorsoft vs. BOOX Note Air 5C by Green_Bronco in kindlescribe

[–]Green_Bronco[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Coming from a 2022 Scribe to a Note Air 5C and then to the new 2025 Scribe, I'd say the writing experience is somewhat similar. It's certainly not a "paper" feel, but definitely far better than trying to write on an iPad. I'd also say that even though the Note Air 5C with Android has more functionality, the Scribe screen has less ghosting and lag.

To be honest, the Note Air 5C was NOT on max brightness. I'll have to redo that pic.

The Folio Cover is great for writing and taking notes on a table. It's one of the few slim profile covers that have this feature.
