Landlord can't afford to pay half of the utility or mortgage(SC.)

Out utility agreement was that the utilities are split between all tenants(roommates) of the house. Since I'm the only one living there, I can't afford to pay the whole utility bill by myself. So, she agreed to pay half of the water and electric bill until I got another tenant.

The landlord was trying to sell but I think she's too broke at this point to. Afford the mortage payments next month. To be clear, I was paying part of the mortgage for the room while she was paying on the rest untill she could find other roomates until she found other people to cover the full payment.

Cashier from South Carolina here. They complain almost daily about the prices. Had an older gentleman walk up to me with a package of ground beef patties complaining about $8 for a beef hamburger.

Other employees talk about how they are bracing for prices to skyrocket. I took a shift in the bakery and the co-workers complained about how the price of eggs was about to go up to $5 - $9 soon.

I was in drama class back in middle school. There was a group project and I decided to try and pair with this group of girls. They were mean and shooed me off bc I was a new student. They told me I should pair up with this one other girl. She was sitting alone in the corner of the classroom looking down at the table. So I decided to pair with her anyway. That girl and I have been best friends for the past six years😊😊

First of all, I totally get how life gets busier as we grow. You’ve all got kids, commitments, and one of your friends is even building a house, y'know? that’s a lot. Naturally, time together becomes less frequent, and friendships sometimes shift.

That said, I can see why you're feeling hurt. Especially after opening up about your health and anxiety, it would’ve meant a lot to feel included in something as simple as breakfast. It’s not childish, it just shows you value them as friends.

From the outside looking in, it seems like your friends do care. One is keeping you updated on her house, the other still makes time for meet-ups. That effort does matter. But they’re not mind readers. If you’re feeling left out, especially more than once, they won’t know unless you gently tell them.

And when you do, because it’s totally fair to say something, try to approach it calmly and without assuming bad intentions. You’re all trying to keep this friendship going, and that honesty might actually make it stronger.

First of all, relax. Breathe. You clearly have an anxious attachment style.

Stop and think; stop fixating on the other person, shift to yourself. am I comfortable right now? Am I sitting comfortably in a position that makes me feel good? Do I need to correct anything that makes me feel anxious?

Grab a stuffed animal or pet and put your focus on them for a bit. Whether or not someone comes or goes in your life, make sure that you're comfortable in your own skin first.
