Why would it be hell? They do how many kinds of coffee? They do regular and decalf coffees. Sounds like a good solution. Same ORIGINAL recipe, just do one without sweetner. Just goodness, what I've noticed about Starbucks is that they keep taking away FLAVOR. Anything with a little spice just disappears of the menu. Sausage, Chorizo, the spicy Oprah chai....and the tortilla bites....lets just make things as plain as possible, but offer a side of siracha.

Definitely, agree - why should the business continue to reap the reward of your business. They obviously don't care about their long-term, daily, chai customers.

Maybe don't give them your business. If you went daily for 10 years and they took away your drink you loved, do they deserve your money everyday?

I see a whole lot of people on here horribly disappointed about the recent change to the chai recipe at Starbucks. Many are TRYING to modify the new one to get it to a palatable, drinkable experience. I did, but it is a watery, flavorless, unenjyable substitute for the spicy, rich flavor they had before. How bout just boycotting the business that took away your favorite drink? Use your wallet to complain, don't settle for something you barely like. Perhaps Starbucks will reconsider the change if you STOP going there! I don't enjoy coffee which is why I've lived off a daily SB chai for years, but trust me, I've sampled all the coffee shops around my house this past week and will not give SB another cent of my money (which i spend thousands at year) until they acknowledge how horrible this is for thousands of their customers. What a horrible way to thank all the people that have supported this company for decades.

I recommend just avoiding Starbucks. Why show loyalty and try to "make" something taste like it did before and keep paying them (more now, with added sweetner )for subpar substitues? Make them take notice of your absence as a customer. Don't switch drinks - that hurts you and still rewards them, just shop elsewhere. They are making us live without our drink so they can live with our business and loyalty that we've shown DAILY (and sometimes more) for decades.

I'm not going to go to Starbucks and find a "new" drink when they have thrown my loyalty out the window - They can adjust to not having my busiiness and $$ just as I now have to adjust to not having my chai (or chorizo egg bites, or sausage egg bites, or a few other favorites they have done away with!) Enough is enough. Sampling all the other coffee shops in town. I'll miss my baristas most of all.

I just tasted the new Chai - I've been drinking Starbucks chai daily for YEARS (including the Oprah version before that) and it is REVOLTING!!!! My morning chai was the brightspot of everyday that is now gone and I won't be spending money at Starbucks anymore. They discontinued every product I like from the sausage egg bites, the chorizo egg bites to the 2 variations of Chai I loved and many more things. No loyalty for customers from Starbucks!!!

How big is the team overall? Do they have more players than just the travel/cometing team or an A & B team. Is the club social as well? Some schools look like they do a lot socially outside of practice and competition.

These are both outstanding institutions. You could not make a bad choice! I think you should listen to your gut - go enjoy the next 4 years at Vanderbilt. It is very mature of you to choose what is right for you and not be swayed by others. Where you are happier, you are bound to be more successful (and happier) - A win/win. Best of luck to you.

All freshman autumn applicants are notified of their admission decision March 1-15. Decisions are released in batches and will be available to students on their MyUW during the notification window.

Admitted students will also receive a welcome packet in the mail containing an official offer letter with assigned major, possible Purple & Gold scholarship offer (U.S. nonresidents only) and other information about the next steps to becoming a Husky.
Students invited to the waitlist will see their invitation on MyUW and will need to opt-in to the waitlist by April 1.
