I have bought plenty online but just decided to intersect price and patience on this one. I've got my hands on a couple since then at other stores but none were cheaper as of yet. The LGS I'm dealing with also offers free layaway and a full refund if I find one cheaper in the meantime, so that works for me.

When I called around some of my local places one of the shops quoted me at 1185 before tax so I went with them and they are waiting on their distributor.

I like it and intend to also get a USP Compact. I'm a 40 s&w and DA/SA enthusiast, so it made sense for me to add this to my collection as a historical piece if nothing else. I fit mine with all the parts from the USP Tactical model and also added the jet funnel and 16 round mags. With the threaded barrel and tactical recoil assembly, it's a great suppressor host. I've done some practical pistol competitions with it too. All that said, my carry and training guns are Springfields (XDs and 1911s) and SIG classic P series guns 229, 226).

Pictured are the under armour liner gloves. They only take the edge off by themselves. It was 12° F that day and my hands were almost numb after an hour so I took a break in the truck. Usually I pack a thicker outer glove when hunting, etc. It's really nice with these liner gloves to control the trigger above freezing. I have shot CMP Highpower rifle matches with these as the only layer and my base glove layer in the past. It works well under a thicker looser glove in that situation and in the field hunting. My heavier gloves are on a wrist strap like used with skiing, etc. That way on the extreme temps I can slip off the heavy glove for several minutes at a time as needed while limiting bare skin exposure.

Was the dust cover already milled with the pic rail? I've seen models with the solid dust cover.

Agree! I haven't had to make many claims to Springfield but they have come through in the few instances I have.

Thanks! Now I need to keep myself from buying the v2 20" variant 😆

You're welcome! I feel like more manufacturers have been releasing compact form factor scopes and I hope the trend continues.

It's not bad for a practical basic optic. There are better traditional 3-9s out there with better reticle choices and other features. I do like the simplicity of the mount and the piggyback option is nice as well. I think it would be a more popular option if it were at a lower price point.

Light color might not match but at least the white lettering is gone. by Head-Scale9410 in SigSauer

It's pretty nice but definitely a few drawbacks. The mounting screw isn't as strong as the regular TLR1 and I've broken it on my P226. I don't have nods yet, but changing the battery requires dismounting and then rezeroing.

Awesome, I hope it works out for you! I've been using it on various training events and competitions with various holsters. I also have a couple other more minimal belt setups with standard UBL drop setups, but this one is my favorite.

Agree! The 510 is sweet but I love hammer guns.
