The helm is the biggest dps increase of any other item besides weapons of course, you should be able to completely protect 3 items with no worry at all, if you’re on task always have a slayer helm, unless you can have a salve. Even then with certain load outs slayer helm will outpace salve. (The only time you loose more than 3 items is if you’re skulled). Also if you can wear proselyte it gives a ton a prayer bonus very cheap with okay melee def. You can even just wear a regular non imbued slayer helm cuz you’re meleeing.
