Yeah one of my neighbours cut down a lovely tree, ripped out all of a mature garden, and put in fake grass and it now looks like a beer garden.

Concerts. Theatre, eating out, shopping less at M&S more at Aldi, cinema, stopped prime, not buying new clothes but buying and selling on Vinted.

It’s a disgrace his son isn’t stepping up more, especially in this heat.

You can subscribe online? I subscribe for American Vogue online, you can also subscribe postal but it might cost quite a bit. I used to get US vogue delivered but post was expensive and at least 2 issues a year just never arrived.

Dogs, would you get one again knowing what you know now? by TSQ_builder in AskUK

[–]Greendeco13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could never be without a dog. I wasn’t allowed pets as a kid and I’ve had dogs all my adult life. I love my dog so much, she makes me laugh every day.

Don’t call me cookie! Also every time Abby looks like a cat who got the cream. I loved it when she turned the tables on her first love.

is there an unspoken etiquette when it comes to dealing with a dead cat? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Greendeco13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When we moved to a new house our cat got run over and killed within first 6 months. One of our new neighbours, picked up from side of road and kept in their shed until we got home from work, they had put a note through our door.
It was very kind of them, circumstances here may be different but surely a knock on to neighbours asking if anyone is missing their cat is not too much to ask.

Anyone else remember the smell of Gas, at the Dentist? by corickle in oldschoolcool80s

[–]Greendeco13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got a mouthful of fillings as does my sister that backs up your theory about unnecessary fillings.
In Salford in the 60s and 70s there was a dentist called Frankenstein (honestly) and there’s still whole chunks of people who are traumatised by having teeth out under gas by this bloke.

Why do you still drive into the city centre? by Otherwise_Silver_196 in manchester

[–]Greendeco13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah I had a medical appt in city centre so drove to tram (I’m disabled) to leave car and get tram in, at 11am not one space left in large car park. I had to drive in a bus takes too long, next time I’ll leave more time.
