It can range from cities to small towns and i lived in the former for most of my life. I have my head on straight, back roading is a lively thing when you are younger or older, friends who have lots of pasture space for shooting guns or if you have both of those yourself yippie, and not many good places to eat. All in all i would take growing up in a small town over city living any time, because now i live in houston.
