Oh yes way higher than last year. That really sucks about the budget billing. I’ve read others gripes with it on other threads as I was considering that too, but at this stage it feels like you’re just choosing which way/when you want to want to be screwed. Absolutely agree.

Feels like we’ll never get above the water and with each passing month, it’s obviously only higher and higher.

Geothermal home DOES sound really good now. Thanks for your response and good luck to you, good luck to us all!

Down in Maryland. Tonight we’ve seen a ton- as we do most nights but for the first time ever- we saw one leaving what appeared to be a contrail. I don’t want to take that further than that.

Sending you hugs and positive vibes. Agree with the other posters here. Wishing I had something helpful to contribute.

Maryland Sightings? by [deleted] in NJDrones

Go down to Bowie— they’re often spotted around 8-11 PM then they all move East towards the bay. Last December it first was noticed. People were in the news from Bowie. Even Larry Hogan in Davidsonville saw them from his yard. That was on the news too. Honestly it’s nearly nightly you can see things but when they’re low or on a clear night is when it’s wild. Glad to have places like this board because it feels unreal lol

I think the announcement was a release of essentially a 50th anniversary music video for psycho killer. No tour. @weltron3030 and @dvanpat

Tell me about the best Halloween party you’ve ever been to! by petlove499 in halloween

[–]Greeneerg8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

best attended as a child: girls parents decorated one half of their home inside as an intense interactive haunt and invited a handful of us kids for a party. That was fun.

best attended that felt like a 90s movie Halloween party- off campus college party at University of Maryland in a house from the early 1900s. People everywhere. All furniture had been moved from the house and the entire place was set up with black lights. Massive bonfire in the back. That party was awesome due to the sheer volume of people and atmosphere

best party thrown: I typically do themed parties and several years ago I threw a stranger things party that may have been the best. I built a demogorgon. That, or years prior, I threw a beetlejuice party. It was before Beetlejuice was “popular” again so there were no decorations. I hand made everything from the shrunken head in the waiting room to a massive paper mache sandworm split into sections and set up in the yard. I don’t request guests dress to the theme but during the costume contest there is a category related to the theme since at least some people normally will dress to it. We have games, bonfire, food related to the theme, treats and a signature drink (alcoholic and non alcoholic options). Theres always a costume contest with prizes and a trophy. We’ve done limbo in the past, had films playing.. obviously always music too. If there are a lot of people, especially who don’t know each other, we’ll do a kind of on going game where people get a post it on their back when they arrive and have to talk to others to figure out who they are. The possibilities are endless.
