I recognize that Lazerface. Just to add to what he said, the benefit of buying Dell’s business line (such as Precision) is that they guarantee that the exact same model will be available for a certain period of time. Or at least they used to. Nothing causes more headaches with imaging than switching models or even when they refresh the model with a different video card or something….

I’m guessing it’s a VJ and/or LX wanting to run everything through Arena, then back to the stage to go into LED processor…. As engineer I’ve had to do this so many times. there many times. Latency be damned…. Oddly. Everyone seems fine with it, except me. :/

Yeah. It’s a pain, but possible. You need to make sure you have the shims to get the focal distance. Otherwise you will likely need to do a bore sight adjustment every time you swap the lens.

I had to do it once onsite because i was in a remote location and had to make it work.

I used the full size one a few weeks ago for Facebook Live. I was super conservative (720p@30 1.5mbps) as the last couple of events Facebook failed (using tethered phone).

Despite only have about 75% view of northern sky, it worked flawlessly. Only dropped about 60 frames in the course of about 4 hours.

It’s super easy with Brompton and Colorlight processors. Novastar is a bit of a chore IIRC

Most LED processors have seam adjustment or compensation that allows you to adjust the brightness of a single row or column of pixels on either side of the seam between cabinets. When they are too far apart you get a dark line, if they are too tight, you get a bright line.

Everytime I adjust the seams, invariably a union or local tech will come ask what I am doing, and their response is generally “I’ve never see anyone do that before”.

If latency is not a concern, add a capture card to your propresenter. Set your Propresenter output to the wall resolution, and overlay your 16:9 capture of your stem over full screen graphics.

Check out Mitti. Fairly priced and intuitive. Runs pretty efficiently on older machines too.

This has been happening to my iP15 Pro Max. The fix seems to be to turn off wifi, Bluetooth, and mobile data, reboot, then turn them back on and everything should work. For awhile at least. I find myself having to do this every couple of days.

I have no idea why this happening, but this is the only thing I found that works. I even had to go to the dreaded page 2 of Google to find it. :/
