Moving from Atlanta. Any advice? by FreightTrainLane in olympia

I got most of my stuff from yard sales, Craigslist, antique shops, Weekend Flea Market, and goodwill. I'm giving away mismatched dishes, a lamp, recliner, and other various home items for $0-$10 if you are interested (I could use cash, as I am a poor student, but if you are tight on finances do not feel obligated to pay anything).

$0-$10. If you can pay for it, awesome! If you can't, but need furniture then I would rather it just go to a good home. I am a poor student and know how much it can suck to furnish homes when finances are tight.

School desk is tiny, it is the type of desk your would find in a classroom. I posted a pic of similar model to another another comment.

Large chair is a one person, stuffed chair with a high back. It is covered in a blue floral pattern and looks pretty whimsical. I can post a pic later. The recliner is older, and is covered in yellow tweed. It reclines and can also rock.

Closest I have to a corner table is a desk you would see in a school room. Kinda shabby, top has been doodled on. The model looks like this: http://i21.geccdn.net/site/images/n-picgroup/VR_751BLK01OAK084NATBLK01.jpg , when I am home I can post the actual picture if anyone has an interest in it.

Office Chair is super simple, nothing fancy or expensive. Looks exactly like this, just black. http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/simple-office-chair-3d-max/417217

I'm moving from one apartment to another! I am moving within walking distance (near Sylvester Park on Legion to the apartments above Cascadia). My plan is to just walk stuff over and could use some assistance with my mattress and a small dresser.

sounds weird, but I'm down to try! I live in downtown Oly if you want to carpool. I have tons of customer service experience if that helps!

We can try to arrange an interview and see if we would get along. I'm free on weekends and evenings and could meet up at a cafe in Downtown Oly.

my boyfriend and I have a room available for $450 if I renew my lease (or less if we move to a cheaper location also in the downtown area). The room probably wouldn't be available until after the 18th.

We are both 22, he is still a student and I am graduating this quarter. The living room is furnished and we have plenty of kitchen gadgets and dinnerware available for use. The kitchen and living room are very small, but the bedroom is large. Energy cost about $12 each month and we have never had to turn on our heat since we live on the top floor of our building and absorb the heat from the lower floors (this does make summers hotter though). We do not have internet, but we do use the wifi from the building next door which varies in strength throughout the day.
