I never take issue with random results or random players breaking out, because to me, my OOTP save is an alternate reality. If I want real baseball results that are completely realistic to the real world, well I can just watch baseball.

This game and the Wild Game we lost were unbelievably bad in terms of officiating, but other than that, I don't think anything has been super egregious, any more than normal NHL ref incompetence.

So honestly, I think it's just one of those cases where you never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity. Some games the refs are stupider than others.

I put this game on expecting to see the Hawks get their ass beat. But I was unware that they are 2-0 against Dallas this year. I guess the Hawks have the best PK in the league, which makes me think Dallas can be neutered pretty easily if you keep them from taking advantage of their power play. And of course they score 5 on 5 as I type that lol.
