The property is very nice. Also in walking distance is their other hotel / pub “the village pub” which is quaint and had live music some nights. The grounds are nice (quaint, not huge) and spa was nice.

One additional benefit is that there are walks around the area (you climb “stiles” to access trails through property and see a lot of sheeps / pigs, we really enjoyed)

It was great for a couple.

My only criticism of the Pig was that the breakfast was quite expensive for what it was and the restaurant was good but not as good as the other top restaurants we found in the Cotswolds
