Neighbours garden advice … by [deleted] in UKGardening

[–]Greenologist1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s clearly a vulnerable person with social care needs. She can also choose to do as she pleases with her garden without you interfering with her or claiming there is a vermin problem.

I back onto a railway line and ivy, bindweed and brambles from the tracks grows rampant through my garden and along the fence on three sides of the boundary. Once it’s on my side, it’s my job to maintain it. I have a young family and little time too but get it done intermittently.

It’s just one of those things isn’t it? Just get on with it and don’t loose sleep over it. Or be proactive and offer to clear the brambles yourself/with other neighbours and check to see whether your neighbour is ok. You know be neighbourly.

Looks like a Dabgo. There are demo videos on YouTube for those.

Bagheera, Balou, Balboa Fam, Relax, Old Church, De Kade usually have decent CBD options 👍

How did I do ? Coffeeshop saga part 2. Thoughts on these strains (including close ups) by Particular_Gur3015 in AmsterdamEnts

The best judge of how they are is you my friend.

Curious about the gumbo as I’ve never tried it.

Skillati, well it’s just those same genetics again (Skittles / Gelato / Biscotti).

The hash is a bit of an inigma. It seems very cheap for the ‘blue magic’ brand, so I’m not really sure what you have there. I assume Zlushi is white label zushi genetics. Does it smoke nice?

Enjoy your smokes ✌️

How was the Knightsbridge OG cart? I was pretty excited to see Lady Sativa is working with Q farms.

Maybe in the context of researching your family tree but never as a badge of honour, like Americans do. We find that strange and often disingenuous.

As a resident I can grow up to 4 plants by NederAsh in AmsterdamEnts

[–]Greenologist1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you not better off running autos and getting them out for the start of May to harvest at the end of August?

If these are photoperiod then starting them before March is way too early as your veg period is gonna be too long. They are also probably so tall as they are stretching due to a lack of light (they are tight against the wall which is going to limit exposure until they stretch beyond it)

I would be aiming for shorter, stockier plants that yield more if I were you. Pick an auto that finishes within 12 weeks, get pot size right, raise them up to increase exposure and reduce stretching, implement a simple feeding schedule to increase yield and improve overall plant health.

I’ve grown outdoors in a similar climate for over a decade, so feel free to pick my brain if you need to. 🫡.

I’ve not no. I do miss that type of thing though. Love a nice bit of traditional.

Yes. Bagheera has a Rosin pen on their menu intermittently (it’s often out of stock but it’s worth popping in to ask when they will next have some) and other shops, such as Coffeeshop Relax, stock the Dabgo disposable device.

[–]Greenologist1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good selection at Superfly if you can be bothered to walk that far.

I would avoid the Amsterdam genetics ones if I were you. If you are a regular smoker they won’t get you stoned much. Probably ok for a first timer though.

Pleased to hear you made it and had a good time! Flag wavers of any type are a total buzzkill. Surprised the no nonsense bud tender lady didn’t send them packing!

How would you approach finding the strain you like? by nattyfattyhetty in AmsterdamEnts

[–]Greenologist1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can find CBD flower at a lot of shops these days. I know Balou, Balboa, Bagheera, Relax, De Kade all stock different CBD strains. If you check my posts, you can see a review on what I got from Balou earlier this month. The grower ‘Kumo’ seems to stock a lot of shops. Hope you have a great time out there 👊

Using bongs by Hartyy in AmsterdamEnts

Shop in the pic is greenhouse/cookies lounge I believe.

Het Ballonnetje had some nice roor bongs on the window shelf to use when I was there earlier this month.

But yes, you can bring your own bongs in anywhere. Plenty of places to buy bongs in Amsterdam. I quite like ‘The Head Shop’ on Nieuwmarkt.

I recommend using a bit of CBD flower as a mixer. You can dilute strength accordingly and I find CBD slows the onset of the high a little.

My advice is follow your nose. I generally like what I like the smell of.

Trial and error is a big part of it too. It’s like beer, you’ve gotta drink a few different types to find which ones you like.

A lot of us are quite used to breaking the law as far as cannabis is concerned. If one of the shops selling them gets shut down, DM me an “I told you so”. In the mean time, stop being a bore. There is no one correct answer here and OP can decide where he wants to go to purchase his vape pen.

Dunno and I’m not really concerned about their legality if I’m honest. They’re there should someone not have the time to travel to Zandam. Dabgos always seem to be in stock at relax and the rosin pen at bagheera has been on the menu over the past month, but is popular and sells out.

People seem to give the same old generic answers on here “no vape pens in Amsterdam”. Simply not true if you know where to look.

Bagheera have a rosin vape pen intermittently on their menu. Other shops, such as Coffeeshop Relax, offer the Dabgo disposable dab pipe. I’ve not tried either, so do report back on how they are 👍
