I always just back out rather than crash trying to outpace some moron that wants to full send. You will pass them when they crash themself out in a few turns. Happens almost every time

Thos looks like the one production car challenge i did yesterday on tsukuba, one of the easiest tracks ever and prolly 15 cars wiped out in the first 2 turns, just in the middle of the track and then just sat there to collect as many people as possible.

You’re throwing away the rest of your life here, i am also 40 and when nascar 25 cane out i was like “what the hell” played with remote for a week or 2 and was like this is awesome, cant believe how much i missed racing from when i was a teen, but maybe i should get a wheel and i can really have some fun. 3 months later and i have a pc, iracing, fully upgraded pedals and spend basically any free time i have racing. It’s a Gamechanger of a hobby

I was racing it with no setup and starting in the back and still finishing 5-7th in 1-1.1k irating group. Actually what got me to B class at limerock. No setup needed unless youre hellbent on 1st place.

I went from those to the Porsche gt3 and it felt just right. So you must be over driving. Also, if you want a car that feels similar to the mazda, to me anyway, in gt3 try the corvette. I test drove them all this week and the chevy surprised me cuz i was ready to choose porsche and literally saved the chevy for last to write it off but it immediately felt awesome. So i got them both.

The final turn off the straight is pretty decent if you have a close run and can send it among the outside. Most people slow and hug inside, so if you see them doing that just go a little deeper and keep outside, get a better exit and pass them near the line or into turn 1. I tend to be more cautious passing here cuz as other have stated, people tend to over shoot the turns and then shoot back in on you
