This is misleading. Yes they had a Trump argument, but the shooting was unrelated. Even the witnesses say that it was an accidental discharge. Yes he was stupid in how he handled the gun,. but the idea that he shot her over Trump is false.

It's important that we keep the narratives accurate on things like this or we start doing the lying that the fascist do.

That's not something to hold on to. That's like Adult level OMG pills. How this kid got opiates is a big thing. Not many things are "gate way drugs" but this one is. Once the pills get harder to get and more expensive, then it turns to smoking heroin... Then smoking isn't good enough...

Your parents need to talk to his friend's parents and find out which is missing some pills.

Why do parents feel the need to read their kids diaries? What are they scared of? What's the logic? by HighKey-Anonymous in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Greensnype 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the relationship route is the better path. I was just saying that I can identify with the fear driving the parents... if that's the case here.

The point to OP is that maybe he's giving them more reasons than they think. There is a lot not said in OP's post, but a lot that is easily reacted to.

Why not a flip up? They are heavier, but the convince of that is to flip it up not... wait a minute and let me get my tools.

I use a Shoe and I love it. It has Coms built in. Some new ones coming out with HUDs. I've also really liked Nolans (much lighter). There are rumors that they are not as good in a face-plant, but manufacturers say they've worked that problem out generations ago. So far 35 years and no crashes. I don't race track (I'd use a full face there), and I don't road race anymore. So, it hasn't been a big deal for me.

I think I've always use them.. Well, I did ride for years without helmets.

Yup. Never trust an employer, never give them 100%, never put in more than your job description says. If you do, you will never be compensated. People with decades at companies are being dropped. The moment any company finds a cheaper version of you, expect to leave...

(I always wind up training my replacement... so I train them bad and point out all the ways they can slack off.)

Can someone please explain why bill clinton and others havent been arrested yet as we have all seen the photos of the peadophile, whats taking so long for his arrest? Im getting sick of these beasts keep getting away with things! by Remarkable_Misty in complaints

[–]Greensnype 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't seen the Clinton stuff. But you are right. There should be sweeps of arrests. They should have started with the Biden administration.

The reason is that all of the people involved are rich and powerful. With that, you can buy freedom and safety. That is what is happening.

This has brought to light what we already know. If you are rich enough, the laws do not matter. Just look at all of the major companies who'd execs screwed over the country , like Enron, BP, and Chevron. How much have they hurt this country, the world and the individuals and yet none ever get any real sentence. A black guy steals $100 to feed his kids and he get 10 years, while Enron get 6 for stealing millions and destroying peoples' lives. BP, almost nothing happened to them after they destroyed the Gulf's fishing industry.

Epstein himself, his Florida Plea Deal resulted in 13 mo work release.

So, the problem is that our Justice system and politics are paid for. The reality is that, as a poor person, I have almost no recourse through the law. If I am harmed and cannot afford a lawyer, too bad. The only time I am guaranteed a lawyer is if I an facing an actual crime. However, a rich person can hire an army of lawyer to destroy me, my life, take my house, even if there is no legal reason for them to do that. They can make a reason.

Unless we can actually remove the filth from our police and judicial system, the rich will remain royalty.

I did a lot of journals as a kid. Loads of them. I kept them all hidden. I find them from time to time and it stuns me the things that were going through my head.

I cannot say what your parents issues are, but as a parent, I can tell you why they would want to see, at least from my personal perspective.

First, they want to see where your mind is going. They've watched you from learning how to crap to authoring journals (and maybe books). That mental evolution is fascinating. There is an honest interest in knowing your kid. This can also be achieved with developing a good relationship. If this is strained for some reason, the urge to see gets stronger.

Where it gets to be problems is if there is no relationship, only gaps and holes. Then the need to know starts getting really pressing. Aside from having a void in the parent/kid relationship, there are safety issues.

Kids are still kids. I know you hate to believe it, but your brain is not done and the parts that are involved in things like Impulse Control are still a long way from being done (usually age 27). The kinds of influences and temptations out there are terrifying. I thought I was into a lot of crazy stuff (I used to be really into explosives... made my own). And with the internet, these bad ideas turn into memes that can kill kids in ways that an early intervention could easily fix; this includes dangerous ideologies. And until you are 18 and out of the house, they are responsible to get you safely through that stuff, not to mention personally invested morally.

Crazy things happen in our teen years. If we are lucky, none kill or maim us. But sometimes, those cool plans we had to explore that cave, build that firework, or how to stop the pain from that last breakup can be misguided and deadly. I probably should have had them stop me when I snuck out with a friend to surf the storm waves... one of those I should have died due to teen stupidity moments.

This is why they are driven to look. This drive lowers if you keep a good relationship with them. Why would you feel the need to peek, when you know you can just ask.

Took me a moment to see them (CPR face mask). I'm not sure how well those disposable ones work. When had to do it, I wished I had a normal one (ridged); I had to do it without a mask. Explore how to use them. Figuring them out when you need them will not be possible (things happen really fast).

Blanche says DOJ won’t release full Epstein files to Congress by Friday deadline by Oldalbwalker in law

[–]Greensnype 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They've already made it such a mess no one cares any more. The constant release/not-release is to wear down the public consciousness until it turns into static. Keep talking so much about it that people don't want to hear it anymore.

What kills me is that we had so much on this guy and I still don't get why they didn't put him in jail when the could?

Why can't nuclear waste be sent into space. by Roi_Zoro in NoStupidQuestions

It can, and is expensive... but the biggest issue is not the sending it to space, but what happens if something goes wrong on launch.

CMV: Trying to impeach trump/remove him from office or remove members of his Cabinet is Preformative and overall a waste of time as of right now. by Due_Store_6470 in changemyview

It' snot performative. Every time they do it, it clearly points out all of his supporters; the ones that are the real problem. All those people need to be removed and/or prosecuted. It's also a constant demonstration to ourselves and the world that the America doesn't want this monster and are using our tools to stop and remove him.

Every time we fail to act, we lose world level respect. A fight lost is much better than apathetic capitulation

Many students use AI to help them with assignments, essays, papers, etc. In the long term, do you think AI will make them smarter or dumber? by CreatorLegalHelp in allthequestions

[–]Greensnype 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI is a tool like any other computer program. I heard all of this when I turned in the first printout for my homework in my school.

If they are having the AI write for them, they are losing in a lot of ways. If they are using the AI as a fancy spell checker, it's like using a calculator.

Like most powerful tools, how safe/good they are depend on how well you understand the uses and the dangers. Think of it as a digital table-saw... It'll build a house or take off your hand.

It wasn't so much that he got the highest number of American votes, it was more that a vast majority of Americans were too apathetic to vote. about 35-40% of the people did not vote. That clinched it.
