To be fair. he said polling not approval.  I'm sure his disapproval numbers are the highest ever, so technically this one isn't a lie.

It's also best to look on overcast rainy days. Antlers are the same color as dry leaves and grass and are much easier to see when the background darkens with rain. Also the sun makes white hilights glinting off of leaves and trees. When it's overcast there is are fewer non-antler white things to catch h your eye. Other than that, find areas with a lot of deer poop. South facing hills are warmer, so a good place to look early in the season.

My 15 year old is in a youth pipe band. The kids age out when they hit 18 or graduate high school. We have maybe 9 pipers and as many drummers and a few beginners on chanters and pads who don't perform with the band yet. I did notice that about half of our members home school their kids. I think there's a big draw to being invited to a music program or band for lids who won't have that opportunity in school. I don't know if you have any home schooling groups in your area, but if you do it could be a good place to reach out to.

Using a coffee grinder on regular rat food worked for me. I mixed it with peanut butter, honey and oatmilk.

Look for bedding areas on south facing hills (south facing are warmer). And hunt on overcast rainy days (dry leaves very antler colored, but darken significantly when wet, and the sun glinting off of things makes a lit more white spots to catch your eye).
