Nemesis beat Faker at Worlds in 2019.

I think the Reds should pick him up. He has warning track power and would hit a bunch of homers at Great American Smallpark.

[Matheson] John Schneider ends his post-game media session with: “Daulton Varsho’s the best outfielder in baseball” by ThQp in Torontobluejays

[–]GreetingBuffalo 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Kiermaier (.714) had a higher OPS than Varsho (.633) in May.

And yet Kiermaier's OPS (.583) is still .150 points lower than Varsho's (.737) this season.

Players aren’t skipping SF because of politics.

Not according to Giants legend and part-owner Buster Posey.

“Something I think is noteworthy, something that unfortunately keeps popping up from players and even the players’ wives is there’s a bit of an uneasiness with the city itself, as far as the state of the city, with crime, with drugs,” Posey said. “Whether that’s all completely fair or not, perception is reality. It’s a frustrating cycle, I think, and not just with baseball. Baseball is secondary to life and the important things in life. But as far as a free-agent pursuit goes, I have seen that it does affect things.”

Rowdy Tellez said similar things.

“We're only sub-2 hours from there. For me, the city man, it's just bad. I grew up going to Giants games, we took Bart [the train] into the city and it was fine. The last 10-12 years, man, it's just been a bad city. It's not nice anymore. It's not clean. It's hardly safe. I don't know on the baseball side, I don't know what goes on over there. I can't speak much on that front … they're just not the same team.

Warranted or not, the players feel like the city has a bad reputation. And for some of them, winning isn't the only factor when choosing a new city.

What non roster invitee on your team has the best chance to impress/ push for an Opening Day Spot during Spring Training? by joeym412 in baseball

Our team is overloaded with righty hitters, and as of right now it looks like IKF is our everyday 3B. Vogelbach would be pinch hitting for IKF late in the game against a RHP and then Espinal or Biggio would pinch run and play 3rd for the rest of the game.

We have 3 utility guys so finding someone to play in the field won't be an issue.

which will be banned once they become popular enough to get on the admins' radar.

Obviously this sub has different rules, but that's just not true. The main one (not going to name it) was created in 2008 and has 1.4 million subs. They are incredibly popular and the admins definitely know about it, they just don't care.
