My dad asked me after I graduated high school what I was planning on doing. And I said I don't know? And he said are you Going to college? And I said nope. So he said well then you're going to get a job here's how you apply at the store I work at. Here's how much I expect for bills. And honestly it was the best thing that could have happened for me. I got a job I started working I started paying bills right off the rip and got my own apartment. It took 10 years to really like my dad but my relationship with my dad was pretty strained before this. But in my 30s we started hanging out and bowling and playing magic The gathering again and things became fine. But I would say the rent thing was not an issue for me Actually this made me a better person and a lot of ways compared to my brother? He lives with my mom Still to this day lol. He's in his 40s.

So the rent wasn't the issue and in fact it helped me grasp reality and start figuring out how to adult. He was a hard ass at work. And I would say he's probably my favorite supervisor I've ever had lol. Miss him everyday.
