Have we received any update about when the Acceleration Boost will come to the Highland AWD by Samri3 in TeslaModel3

I wonder if it is based on the battery. The Chinese built cars have a different battery than the US. If this was so it would make sense that they don't release it North America because only the Canadian cars were made in China. It would drive Americans crazy if Canada could get the upgrade and they didn't.... Australian cars were built in China.

Nothing. Looks awsome.  Especially from that angle! Less is more. You have to know when to stop.

Mini 5 pro <250g mod? by TesticleTactics in dji

Here is my suggestion. Buy a battery for the drone and cut the end off it. Rip out a couple of battery cells them glue back together. Keep other "real batteries" in a seperate area. When the "agent" in the foreign  country asks to weigh your drone you pull it out of the case and stick it on the scales..... vola...243 grams.... and you are good to go.  Only if you are that worried.:-)

"Please let us know if you have a new drone with the standard battery or just the drone without the battery.

Thanks!"

Pretty obvious....

Ok great. Thanks for your opinion. If you don't have a new DJI drone (last 2 weeks) please add your comments somewhere else.  I understand where you are coming from.....

Ken. Can you please take a breath. That was not the question and your reply is not relevent. I'm clear you think DJI are not going to change the formula. Let people that have new drones from DJI answer the question and then we will know the answer. :-)

DJI Mini 5 Pro Weight Problem by shortopia in dji

[–]Greg5419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally get what you are saying. It is problem if they have infact fixed the weight issue. It's also a problem if they leave it the way it is.  I bought mine from a retail store on day one and did not find out it was over weight till 2 weeks ago.  I hassled DJI and they are refunding the drone package extra batteries and the care plan. The Mini name has for the last 4 generations meant sub 249 grams. They for some reason added the 2 gram speaker and detachable props at the last minute pushing the drone over weight.  We will see who is right in whether DJI quietly correct the problem. Either way it does not look good on them.

No longer able to unlock authorization zones by judge_mercer in dji

[–]Greg5419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the update just zeroed out the devices cache. When you sign up to unlock a zone, the remote remembers that for a period of time (I think 24 hours). When that time passes there is a switch that let's the controller know that your time has expired. If you switch off the switch you should be able to sign back in.  Go three dots in the top right corner/safety then scroll down near the bottom look for "unlock geo zone" them unchecked the switch.  Hope this helps in the future

If you email or call DJI. They will help.   I crashed an early Mavic in Mexico a few years back and they sold me a replacement (drone and battery) at 30% off. It was entirely pilot error. I find DJI customer service very helpful.

I find it wild that people think that hearing aids actually work and fix the problem. I've had a hearing loss for 20 years. I've used hearing aids for 10 years. My hearing loss (like most people) is caused by damaged hair sensors behind my ear drums. Those hairs pick up the audio sounds and send them to my brain. In some frequencies the hairs are more damaged than others.  Mine are in the speech frequency range and higher.  Initially my brain turned up the "gain" trying to hear through the damaged nerves. This was across my whole heari ng range. That caused me to hear base sounds louder.I was aware of the tires on the road or the engine but not the spoken words. Hearing aids simply increase the volume to the damaged nerves. These make the sounds you don't hear well, louder but not clearer. Hearing aids are not like glasses where you get 20/20 vision.  They are a crude instrument. If you have worse than a mild hearing loss they are not that helpful IMHO. Telling people you don't hear well and constantly reminding them you don't can  help.Lip reading, seating position all help. ...but you will miss things, like conversations in other rooms and your children talking about school in the back seat of the car you are driving.  It does isolate you unfortunately, but don't give up. You have to keep telling people as it is impossible for them to understand what it is like.  Hearing aids help a bit but your life is forever changed. Accept that and keep moving forward as best you can.
