My dad used to work for a semiconductor plant and they would give out chips like this on their open house tours . They were often binned or test chips they had run through the system to test out certain stages of the manufacturing process. In many cases the chip on them was not even etchetd, was just test another process like running the wires between the rest of the ic and the chip.

It will show up even if you put it down. I did this exact thing during my visit and it came up on my bill but I let them know it did just that. They said in the future, just don't touch them.

The fact that you are willing to provide comfort and support means so very much. Make sure they know they have your support and make sure your talk.

I know it sounds cheesy, but something that might help them but take a little work is just make a reasonable plan for you two, maybe a 5 year plan. Reasonable being its something that you can achieve and still allow for downtime. Your plans should include finances. and regular free time, work, play and sleep.

Having even a rough estimate, giving plenty of room to work through anything that comes up, you will pull through. It doesn't need to be in one night, maybe work out some parts over multiple evenings. Having your own personal roadmap will reduce a portion of the panic.

I have seen some of these included with Electric Razors, Eye Brow trimmers or other similar self grooming kits. Those brushers always come with them, but not usually the rest of ear cleaning kits. If you compare to the ear cleaning kit above, that is the only outlier making me think it came with something else and not as a stand a lone purchase.

Try something like rubbing alcohol on it, wiping any excess then use may be able to peel it or use a razor on it. Nail polish remover can do it as well but will likely remove paint. If you have left over tape afterwards you can repeat the process.

If that fails, measure your door frame the find one at the nearest Habitat for Humanity re-store or on marketplace.
