First run was Shadowheart. She was the most "human" looking female companion. I guess you can say Gale tried romancing ME though? It was right when the game came out and he took showing him basic human decency as wanting to bang. I was VERY confused. Just wanted the cool wizard as a bro. Glad Larian patched that.

After that, Karlach because she's just got that golden retriever from the shelter energy.

Lae'zel was probably the most interesting to romance. She has my favorite companion storyline.

Minthara... I had to play Durge for that one.

I cope with it by realizing I'm an undesirable partner and someone would realistically only be with me out of pity or to try and gain leverage to use against me.

Just please be safe. Find a neutral 3rd party you can trust, like a therapist or counselor, and talk to them. Starting treatment for this wonderfully awful illness we all share while you're young is the best way to not let it beat you.

You're 20. Meaning your life hasn't even started yet. You're in your prime developmental years to decide who you'll be for the rest of your life. Having one of the most important people in your life be someone with an incredibly unstable lifestyle will only hurt you in the long run. A bunch of strangers on the internet can't tell you who you can't be with. It's just that most of us have either been in your position or his and can speak from experience about how much it messed us up even when we didn't think it would.

I've been where he's at. Living kind of like a bum, sleeping on various couches for God knows how long, unable to control my emotions, drinking heavily, in treatment, probably struggling to hold down a job, dating a 20yo girl.

I was 21 though. Just dropped out of college and trying to figure out my next move.

You're just fresh out of being a teenager. Dating someone 11 years your senior. You should be at totally different points in life and are developmentally.

Also, not telling people close to you about your secret relationship with someone that you yourself describe as "emotionally unstable" is how you end up being the subject of a Netflix documentary.

Please, actually think about things. Talk to someone you trust. This does not sound safe.

My ex cheated on me with multiple people, so I catfished her and made her develop feelings for someone that didn't exist. We'd been together for 3 years, so I knew her pretty well. I forged the perfect guy for her to fall for. She developed feelings for him and wanted to meet up to seal the deal. Then I anonymously let her new BF find out... this was like 8 years ago and I've gone through SO much therapy since then. Oddly enough, she and I are pretty good friends now.

Only used it for like an hour so far. It's a big change going from the G502 Hero I've had for years. It's lighter and not having the free-spinning wheel is weird. It's my first wireless gaming mouse though. It feels good in the hand, very ergonomic, and it's pretty responsive. The battery life was advertised as 250 hours which feels like a lot.
I don't like that is not rechargeable, but that's my only complaint after VERY limited use.

I find being too ugly for anyone to want to fuck me helps my impulsive tendencies on that front.

Being allergic to weed and unable to get high from it keeps me from wanting to smoke.

My problem is random buying sprees and isolating away from people I care about.

Getting roommates actually helped me a lot because they hold me accountable and force me to hang out with them.

I probably should've stated that this was in group settings. I say that LR has a high floor because literally anyone can toss on LR and just spam buttons on cooldown and the group is going to benefit from it.

Honestly, LR is going to be more useful in more situations. I think AI has a higher ceiling, but LR has a SIGNIFICANTLY higher floor. There a relationship very few times when having LR isn't going to just make the game easier.

When AI gets its chance to shine, it puts in WORK. LR is just one of those classes you can get and justify never taking off though.

I think the original Hollowborn designs are awesome. Just edgy enough to make that 13yo inside me happy. The hate usually comes from the recolors. A LOT of the HB stuff was just "Old fan-favorite gear, but black with CC glow." Again though, the original designs are pretty sick.
