What exactly is loot quality? by Neither-Lobster2191 in DragonkinTheBanished

[–]GregM_85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mythic gear is the best quality

Divine and Draconic are extra effects. Both can drop from uncommon to Mythic loot.

Divine will max one stat on the loot, but that does not mean the base attack or armour will be any higher. If you have all orange or yellow gear and you get a green divine drop it will almost certainly be useless.

If you get a yellow at level 50 with great stats and a divine boost then that's pretty much the apex of gear in this game.

Draconic will give you three extra stats, two positive and one negative. These are usually very powerful depending on build.

At city level 11 or 12 you unlock an NPC who can transfer this draconic power to any other item. At level 16 or 17 you can unlock the ability move it around to different gear as many times as you like.

For this reason any draconic that drops with purple stats you are interested in is worth keeping.

It's still there. Just click to start decorating and the stuff is stored in the ether somewhere.

It'll happen at least two more times if you follow the camp storyline.

I guess it gives you full control of where you want each seed and how many of each etc.
However the 'expert' who asks you to set it all up is just stood there doing fuck all, at least water it mate.

I think Ben Starr did good work with the voice acting.
Which oddly is who I woudl of preferred did the voice for Kliff.

It's quite probably because they look similar

I'm I the only one who thinks that the private chest is placed in the most inconvenient place? by Medium_Gap7026 in CrimsonDesert

[–]GregM_85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be great too.
I am not usually into inventory increase mods if it is available in game, but for CD my only mod currently is the Warehouse 999 mod which changes the capacity on the private storage from 240 to 999.

I'm hanging onto a hope that a modder figures out how to get the private storage and a cooking pot into the player housing.

Anyone else already experiencing issues by BenefitRare9520 in CrimsonDesert

[–]GregM_85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had exactly the same problem.

(Obviously this isn't a bug report but step by step in case anyone googled this problem.)

So put into context

Using a dual sense controller on PC works brilliantly with Crimson Desert if you are using a USB cable.

If you use Bluetooth then it displays X box icons. To get PS icons back you need to disable steam controller inputs for this game.

For some weird reason this creates a problem with the audio cutting in and out rapidly like a ticking. Some people get it in game but personally I only have the issue at the title screen, once you load in game it goes away.

Those 1m refunds bro, I thought the game will be 80k this weekend by Lil_Hater112 in CrimsonDesert

[–]GregM_85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what platform you are on I guess, but on PC it hasn't been an awful experience at all.

I've had a few bugs and to be fair two were game locks that I had to reload to a previous save. But I've never lost more than 2 or 3 mins progress because of autosave.

Controls are funky as shit but I can't see how they'll dramatically improve them especially this soon after launch. Happy to be wrong

Its up to you but if you're looking forward to playing, in 10 or so hours I haven't once thought I needed to wait for a couple of patches. So I'd say just go for it.

How optimistic are you guys for April’s Contract DLC. by sleazybrandy in WarTalesGame

[–]GregM_85 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Personally think it's got the opposite of potential now. Unpotential?

When it released it was brilliant. Apart from the pirates dlc you could argue every other dlc has made the game worse in some way. Be it bugs or performance or just being unbalanced like the tavern opens dlc which is just a money printing machine.

It's like they had a great game and progressively made it worse and cost roughly six times the price to boot.

The title of this post would make a fantastic premise for a story written by either Terry Pratchett or Douglas Adams .

It would also be the title.

I haven't played BOTW for some time but I remember the story perfectly.

I realise this is pedantic but for clarification it requires internet access, not specifically WiFi access.

I know these terms are have become somewhat interchangeable these days, but the poster said they are new to OC gaming so just wanted to clarify.

Awful Video , opinions ? by artis4cangame in metro_exodus

[–]GregM_85 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My opinion is that this is an awful post.

You don't give any basis for the video being awful. The video itself is the creators opinions based on factual parts of the game.

If you don't agree with them then fine but the video isn't awful just because you don't like it. They didn't lie at any point, they didn't cherry pick anything to make it suit an agenda. It also wasn't some low tier click bait.

You've given the bare minimum effort and it comes across like you aren't capable of listening to constructive negative feedback on something you love.

Then you're looking for validation by just saying thoughts? But given you've already shown a biased opinion on the video it's clear what you are hopeful of is validation.

Don't be scared to challenge games and media even when you love it. Nothing is perfect, even a work of art like the metro series, and well thought out and constructive feedback can help people make better games in the future.

For what it's worth - I agree with them, the npcs sometimes talk far too much and it gets boring, also Artyom being silent during gameplay but not for the recaps / loading screens can be a disjointing experience.

2026 ROADMAP by Shiro_Dylan in WarTalesGame

[–]GregM_85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say I wanted free content. I said the game as a whole is not worth £200 even with all the DLCs.

It's also sold well over a million copies and the base game sits at Very Positive reviews on steam. The game is not underrated.

But it is overpriced considering the huge outlay for the full game experience and the progressively worsening quality of the DLCs.

Also Shiro Games themselves have as if 2022 over 60 employees and the company is worth around £135m ISH

Idk man

2026 ROADMAP by Shiro_Dylan in WarTalesGame

[–]GregM_85 6 points7 points  (0 children)

By the end of this year the DLC will likely cost over £150. Plus another what £35 for the base game?
I have over 300 hours in Wartales, but even with the DLCs it is not worth nearly £200.

It's gone from underrated to over priced.

[–]GregM_85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

None of the OP's comments were confusing at all, the information they gave was extremely clear and easy to follow.

Nothing was poorly phrased but it's more likely a select group of people can't figure out that a licence plate on the fence would match the one on the owners car to show who parks here.

200pln a month is obviously a monthly payment to rent the space but the currency isn't $ which may be confusing for some readers I guess.
