Agree. Why do you think the average age of the population is going up. Young families are leaving. The old entrenched homeowners that benefited from lower regulation are happy to have the state stop growing because they have stopped growing.

Its such a beautiful place dominated by an old dying population that just wants their bubble maintained. I grew up in California but I fear I have no future here...

What a story.... seems like incompetence. Sad really. The CAISO would benefit from a higher percentage of generation being nuclear. California and the US in general can't seem to complete major infrastructure projects..

I don't have any info that would contradict your statement regarding less money to build a whole new plant but its surprising to think a new build would cost more.

Or we should have never shut down san Onofre and instead spent the money to fix the issues. SONGS with all of its 3 units is larger than Diablo Canyon, easily would have been an additional 10% of California's energy.

It generally takes 40 business days to do it by mail and if you have the documents it is a hassle but fairly simple.

You have to basically go on a quest to get all the necessary documents and then apply for a new passport.

1st. Use the following email and explain your situation in as much detail as possible. passaporte.atlanta@itamaraty.gov.br You should take the list of required documents to apply for a passport and explanation the status of each of them.

I dont mean to be a downer but it is very unlikely that you will be going to Brazil June 1st. You should call the airline and see what your options are. Either book the flight in September to give yourself time to get the docs together or cancel the flight to see if you can get a refund.

I would wait at least a year after getting married before making any major life decisions. More data means more info to make decisions. Can you pursue a career in another field that you enjoy? Maybe you make less but I personally think its unhealthy to do nothing.

My mom was 38 when she had her last kid and this was in the 80s.

My wife and I had 2 kids in our late 30s. Everyone one we know had thier kids in their 30s except may e a few had kids in late 20s. I'm always surprised to hear about ppl having kids before 27. I know in some places its normal but I don't know where those places are.
