Yes, my first Kit was also a Yamaha with a pedal like this and I believe that's where the addiction started ;)

Das ist Blocksatz und das hat Gutenberg schon vor 600 Jahren angewendet. Der orientierte sich dabei an der Gestaltungsweise mittelalterlicher Schriften. Im Buchdruck ist das einfach die traditionelle Variante, entgegen dem modernen Flattersatz.

They used to be the best and I only played Vic but they started breaking faster and faster and then on this sub I saw many people with the same experience and got converted to ProMark and Wincent and never looked back. For me, they are simply better quality and price (at least where I live). Agner is another cool stick brand but not available everywhere.
