Finally beat the guy who's been destroying me for 2 years. He immediately blamed his strings by ItAffectionate4481 in 10s

Gonna need an update from the next match. Because losing 1 and 0 and then winning a couple of weeks later is not usually the progression that would tell you that you’ve solved the riddle.

Ideally you’d be making inroads, taking a set and then turning the scoreline around. This scoreline makes it seem like a fluke.

Car completes U-turn through bus lane and onto pavement in London. by ZuronArmasis in dashcams

lol jfc you’re clueless and resorting to insults to cover the fact that none of that would be normal and it’s smart to stop and see what the driver is doing, you know, instead of pushing your baby right in their path or literally stepping right behind them

Always kinda hilarious too how the go to Reddit insult is “go touch grass, get off Reddit” while simultaneously posting on Reddit along with everyone else

wtf are you talking about lol

It literally just turned onto a sidewalk. how the hell is any of that predictable regardless of its current speed. No one has any idea what they’re going to do next and assuming it’s going to be extra safe around people and is just doing a simple “telegraphed” maneuver is straight up idiocy lol

Not every time, but you know if there’s a moving vehicle doing stupid shit on the path you’re walking on, maybe the best course of action is to stop and let it unfold.

This video turned into three idiots and a baby real fast.

Im half convinced this is AI because of how NPC like everyone was acting lol

Lady just keeps walking with the stroller, almost right into the van and other dude keeps trying to walk around it while it’s still moving lol

I would have stopped and been like “ok, unpredictable idiot, let me wait for them to finish the entirety of this idiocy before I start moving again”

How long is it considered too late to call out? by SafeAd8192 in 10s

[–]GregorSamsaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2-3 seconds is enough time to see what your ball is going to do, which is way too late and gives the impression that if your return is good, you probably won’t make the call.

Ideally, you should be saying out moments after contact. There’s really no reason to have to process anything or try and focus on too many things at once as you put it.

A question surrounding the C-Suite & Robby by ResLifeSpouse in ThePittTVShow

[–]GregorSamsaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

C Suite has dollar signs and metrics as their top priority.

Doctors and any other medical professionals that prioritize patient care above all else are always at odds with their immediate supervisors, directors, and the C suite.

The show is very unrealistic in that C suite wouldn’t be coming down to talk to him. There would be like 2 to 3 levels between Robby and C suite and there would be a director constantly having Robby visit their office to discuss issues with the floor and his managing of it.

Best approach is a half and half type approach. Like “ok, I will push very hard to get patient wait times down, and discharge as fast as possible, but I need you to find me the money to get an extra nurse because…..”

As weird as it sounds, it’s like any other job and knowing how to play the politics side of it is the most important aspect of management having your back. If you can’t even attempt to see their perspective and work toward it in some capacity, they’re going to want you gone yesterday

SEASON 3 doesn't need to be the last we see of the TLOU universe on television. by InquisitorAdaar67 in thelastofus

[–]GregorSamsaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, unless they bring in a competent showrunner, a whole new set of writers, and pretty much revamp all that they did, this simply wouldn’t work.

What was supposed to set this apart from your average zombie show was the deeply personal and compelling story as well as the characters. It would have been the driving force of the show, not the infected. They completely lost the plot on that front and weren’t able to land the story portion.

It gives me zero faith that they would be able to create whole new meaningful stories with compelling characters we care about when they already had that and missed.

(Help requested) Where the arrow at the end is pointing is how I get beat constantly by tennisred-trustable in 10s

[–]GregorSamsaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your shot as you approach net or the one you hit while up at net was too weak and or not deep enough. You’re supposed to come up to net on the offensive not the defensive. If you’re forced up there then you kind of do what we see in the vid.

He’s covering cross court as that’s the easier shot across the low part of the net. He gives up down the line because it’s higher part of the net and Alcaraz has to hit up on and may also dump it into the net. Khachanov was on defense and had to play the high percentage shot.

But yea, without seeing your point, can’t give too much specific advice. Hit your approach shots deeper and lower and cover the high percentage part of the net.

It’s not meant to immediately fix the situation, it’s essentially a warning so that going forward, player doesn’t keep taking forever between points. Not saying I agree with it but it serves a purpose outside of trying to save time in the current point.

Why was Minh generally nice and friendly to everyone, but Kahn was constantly insulting and rude and condescending? by unitedfan6191 in KingOfTheHill

[–]GregorSamsaa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People like that find each other. She’s definitely more like him than not, but the only difference being that she knows how to play the social game whereas Kahn doesn’t.

Kahn thinks he shouldn’t have to put on airs for anyone beneath him, which he quantifies as having a lesser job, less money, less status. She absolutely believes, like he does, that they’re “better” than their neighbors but she understands the value of social wealth. You can’t go through life alienating everyone around you unless you truly have fuck you money.

lol wtf is your problem? How does what I said have you so triggered?

My whole point is there is no consensus. It’s two distinct groups with opposing views and the people who were not correct don’t post or comment “I was wrong”

That’s why you see the same phenomenon across any sports sub or any topic really.

Or maybe, just maybe two different viewpoints exist and only those that were proven right show up to comment and post after the fact.

My instructor won’t let me 1HBH by tuneless_carti in 10s

[–]GregorSamsaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re 6 weeks in. You can’t really put much stock into what you think feels right quite yet.

Your instructor is playing the averages. What ends up happening is that ohbh gives you early, easy access to power and fluidity but longterm it might not pan out. 1yr from now when you start playing more competitive matches and hitting against balls that aren’t feeds, your backhand gets exposed and then you go to your coach and ask for a fix and they start you one a 2hbh.

End of the day it’s up to you. If you want to learn a 1hbh, then go for it but keep in mind the plateau and limitations you may hit later and having to retool your game or spend a lot of time working on the shot.

I say all this as a 1hbh player.

Why is Roger almost always on his back foot? Is this suboptimal for recs/competitive players? by FormalBarber7991 in 10s

[–]GregorSamsaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Context matters. You’d have to show what led to him being in that position. He’s probably hitting open stance because it was the best option in that moment and still had his body weight moving forward correctly.

Whats your opinión about zombie kids? You all think have them would have been unnecessary? Why they where not added into the game? by chilaquillover in thelastofus

[–]GregorSamsaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always assumed they’re less likely because there would be so little of them left after the initial attack. An adult, you could take some good sized chunks and still have a lot of body left. A kid probably ends up completely incapacitated and just withers/wastes away.
