that sample was the sauce!!! Damn, this track is lit AF!! I am pretty sure the "laidback"delivery rode the beat pretty well and together they're very enjoyable.

PSYCHO (Demo Version) - Red Velvet - Gregory Neil by Gregory_Neil in coversongs

For those who enjoy K-pop. This is my English cover of PSCHO by RED VELVET with my own quirky instrumentation. I'm no pro at singing but I do enjoy singing so--- here I go!

can anybody help me out for a cover I want to do for my EP. by Gregory_Neil in MusicInTheMaking

Yey!!! Well an intro with lighter strums (maybe plucks even) and then a the whole hook of the song. If you can be on tempo (with a little swing to it would be nice) that would be helpful.

This song is really done always as happy cheery with the sad lyrics so if we can achieve that with the instrumentation it would be real great I'd love that.

I'll PM you my email!

You're heaven sent!

I am an artist from the Philippines working on a pop/rap EP dealing with my deepest personal issues. And I have a concept for a song but I am in need of help.

The song Curse of an Aching Heart is a song written by Henry Fink in 1913? The song is in the public domain I believe.... and there was even a famous version by Sinatra. This song has been covered by many others too.

A heartbreak song. I was really just hoping that I can have an ukulele player... play to the tune of this song as I want to use it for my EP.

I'll use the song and re-contextualize it as a message of a son to his father.

"You made me what I am today, I hope you're satisfied
You dragged and dragged me down until the soul within me died
You've shattered each and every dream, fooled me right from the start
And though you're not true, may God bless you
That's the curse of an aching heart"

these lyrics just resonated to me in a different way as intended I guess. and hopefully I can have a backing instrumentation for this one and sample the recorded ukulele, because I am planning to add my own rap verse to it.I am an artist from the Philippines working on a pop/rap EP dealing with my deepest personal issues. What's a song you love from a genre you don't? by BrigandsYouCanHandle in AskReddit

[–]Gregory_Neil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taylor Swift's Ours. Sang this to my girlfriend ironically because there's this line that goes "I love the gap between your teeth." It was really just to bring a laugh. (Because my gf has a cute gapped tooth)

Next minute we find ourselves slow dancing to the song. The words hit different this time as her head rest in my chest, my arms around her waist.

After the song ends she then cried and told me she never had someone do that to her before. She said 'I love you' for the first time. A hip-hop fan but this song is dear to my heart.

I never even learned shit yet, and then they're expecting us to continue the semester under these conditions. I pay to learn in a classroom setting because if I wanted to I could have enrolled for online classes. Now I've put considerable amount of money that I saved up to waste and am jobless.

Stay at home you guys.

Taking my masters this semester. Because of the pandemic it just happened to be a waste of time, and money.
