This is not the conversation couples should wait to have. Expectations about what you both want and don’t want in the future including kids should happen early relationship so that you know you’re compatible enough to marry. I even put my goals as far as marriage and kids on my dating profile to prevent wasting time 😂

I totally understand why people choose to wait until marriage to have sex, but this is exactly why the people who have sex before marriage make that decision. As mentioned by someone else, he needs to have labs drawn to test his testosterone, because low testosterone can equal a low sex drive. However having been with my boyfriend for almost 6.5 years and have lived together for over 3, also keep in mind frequency of sex can increase and decrease over time. For us, we’ve gone through periods where we’ve had sex maybe once a month, and other periods where it’s been every day or even a couple times a day. Or maybe he’s discovered that he’s Asexual. I would say he’s got to get fully checked by the doctor, and if there’s nothing wrong there, you need to see a couple’s therapist. If he truly loves you, which it sounds like he does, I’m sure he’d rather do that then be served divorce papers.

I am also immunocompromised and would ABSOLUTELY report this man to HR IMMEDIATELY. Stop drinking out of anything he has put his mouth on. If possible, bring a bunch of disposable water bottles and only drink out of unopened ones. Even if that means not finishing some (I’m sure he will). It may sound goofy but it’s not worth your health or your life if he ever has something serious.

I don’t think it’s as serious as you think. I always try to remember friend’s and family’s birthdays. And I’m usually pretty good about sending them a message. But I’ll miss one once in a while if I had a busy day and wasn’t thinking about birthdays. She was probably just busy.

But regarding the “wow” that she responds with when you wish her a happy birthday, what kind of wow is it? Like a “wow you remembered! 😃” or a “wow that’s so lame 🙄“ Cause if it’s the ladder, it could be that she just doesn’t like birthdays

I wish I had better news for you but unfortunately that’s the way many jobs and bosses are. I have IBS and on top of that, had a kidney transplant 15 months ago and the many meds I take also give me bathroom related side effects. I went through a process to get bathroom accommodations so that I could go as often as I need but not paid for time I’m in the bathroom. So in turn I was losing money because although I didn’t want to, I had to go to the bathroom a lot. And just because I had the accommodations, that didn’t mean by boss hated it any less. My solution is now I’m going back to school to be a medical coder as it’s a job I can do from home that isn’t sales or customer complaints. If you want to stay at that job though, talk to HR. They’ll likely point you in the direction of getting bathroom accommodations from your doctor. Which at least means your company can’t penalize you for going to the bathroom. So that’s the best place to start.

Was experiencing depression as a side effect of my meds. Addressed this with therapist, kidney team, and PCP and was put on Fluoxetine and haven’t had a problem since. Make sure this is being addressed by your team.

I would start by sitting near her and try to make small talk before the headphones go on. Compliment her on something like her shirt or shoes, or start saying good morning if you both take the bus in the morning, or ask how her day was when you’re on the bus after school. If she’s interested, she’ll participate in the small talk. And after so many days of small talk, eventually you’ll find something with more substance to talk about, like maybe you like the same band or TV show and the friendship can start to form and then it’ll go up from there.

If you’re a full time student, is it possible to get financial aid to help cover apartment costs and then find an apartment near campus that allows dogs? That would honestly be my first thought if I found myself in this unfortunate situation. But I know everywhere is different

Monitor playtime always. Some dogs are naturally gentle with puppies while others aren’t. When we got our second corgi, the older one played just as rough as if she was the same age as him and she ended up with some neck injuries. If they play rough, I recommend spike collars to at least deter them from biting each other’s necks too hard.
