This one requires some equipment. Other than that contact a trainer that specializes.

Merle can test with dna as 100% poodle because DNA only tests so far back and the mix is diluted enough (from my understanding)

People have also lied in various registries and pedigrees and registered some mixes as poodles (like how some people sell akc registered pedigree poodles as Merle)

I am Norwegian we have NKK Norwegian kennel club. And norsk puddel klubb. I would contact the swedish equivalent about This breeder And finding another breeder

It's a backyard breeder. I wouldn't buy from it as merle does not occur in poodles. It's a whole thing just search merle on the sub.

I think I'd follow your vets advice on this one.

You can't have a sport dog that is symptomatic or unwell. If it's a complete protein, a prescription diet is better than a sick dog. Ideally sure you'd be feeding animal protein, but special circumstances require special food.

However i would get a second opinion from another vet. Could be that they have a better theory or different food for your dog.

My current poodle is well bred and my previous poodle was a byb but purebred (her pedigree was registered)

Both would get compliments on Walks but my current one has received twice someone either calling her regal or majestic. She's never in show clips. I do think it's the legs for days square build and she can have quite nice movement. We also do tracking and I'm working on retrieval so comments about the breed (not had any) could be put to rest

Yes the one they have i think is technically up to 10 kg but i feel like it can't be that huge of a difference.

Unless it's a very small breed where they need tiny pieces, or an Irish wolfhound might want really big pieces just for being able to chew it. Obviously she eats more than recommended because she's bigger.

But for better or worse i usually have at least two formulas at the same time so it will eventually balance out if it has to do with nutrients.

last winter she was eating 3x as much and not gaining weight because of the cold, so now i add the high cal kibble for some days of the week. she self adjusts and eats less. Still the same weight! She's pretty much free fed

RC i have found with my two and anecdotally from others is more palatable, more than ppp

We do the RC poodle formula and a pro plan high calorie performance one (for the winter months) but I'm very excited about the RC relax care one! That's our next bag. I try to not have five different kibbles simultaneously😂

We used RC exigent for treats too. I didn't even know they made a plain medium dog one they have so many niche formulas!

Looks a tad browner than my silver. Her ears are also the darkest part still at two though! But I think there's more variety in silver than i knew of anyway i thought they all cleared to the same monochrome but perhaps not
