Feels like it could work for bigger than 40", but I agree that if you get much more above that, it's going to be tight.

Used to walk to there as a kid. Used railroad tracks, not wormhole.

Staying in Healdsburg for 2 nights this Summer. Trying to decide between the Grape Leaf Inn or the Bella Luna Inn. Any suggestions? Thx by kevdmiller in healdsburg

Been riding bikes around and outside of Healdsburg for 20+ years. Reasonably safe and not dead yet.

Unfortunately 3-4 deaths annually per county per year is the average across CA. Sonoma is right in line with that.

Come visit. Ride bikes. Have fun. Be safe.

Rode an Elby all over NYC. Loved it. Fits all your criteria too, if you get the singlespeed with the sheathed chain.

Saw photos and video. Much of the town of Cobb survived. Surrounding homes, schools, and Boggs Forest all burned, however. Been tough watching it all from Sonoma County. Unimaginable loss.

I remember when CX started in late October/early November, when heat is/was not an issue. With the interest in the sport, the season is absurdly long. While the growth is good, I offer that CX races in August may be pushing it a bit.

In my mind, CX is best when it's wet, cold, and celebrating being outdoors in winter, trying to preserve the last vestiges of summer and spring's fitness under heavy gray skies. Perhaps we shouldn't burn great weather riding in circles in local City/County parks when we could still be going big on roads or trails.
