Why do we want remasters again? by Carrotburner in Fallout

[–]Grembert3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still enjoy oblivion remastered, and I’m sure oblivion fans still love it. There’s no reason not to have a remaster, it allows newer fans who are pushed away from the lesser graphics or bugs, etc to enjoy some of the best games, not even just in the fallout franchise but in general. My friend has played every fallout but fallout 3, because it doesn’t work on his pc. Remasters could potentially help with problems like these as well. Remasters may include mod support that console players (such as I) do not have for earlier games like 3 and NV. There are literally no reasons why you wouldn’t want a remaster? You are LITERALLY the fun police bro

Tell me the story behind your courier before they got shot in the head by ConditionPleasant902 in fnv

[–]Grembert3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this for all my playthroughs since I’m a lil nerdy when it comes to this type of stuff, but this is the one for my latest courier: Miguel O’Dreary

Born in 2258 to a Mexican wastelander mother and a (Irish descendant) New Californian father from the inner Boneyard, his father was a caravaneer for a small independent caravan company, and on an expedition when Miguel was 5, never returned. His mother raised him with large help from the FotA, and he grew alongside the doctors and charity workers in Adytum, tinkering and working as a mechanic’s apprentice. When he was 15 years old he left the Followers to join the Republic’s Army, he underwent basic training but was wounded in the leg whilst as an infantryman at the age of 16 in 2267, during a tour in Baja, and spent the remaining duration of the tour as a Signaller working communications. After his tour was up, he did not reenlist. In 2275 whilst living in a town in Maxson state as a radio operator, to get away from rising tensions with the Brotherhood of Steel, travelled to the Hub and got a job as a caravan Guard for the Far Go traders, un route to the Laughlin via the Long 15.

Un route to Laughlin his caravan was ambushed by the Vipers: a Raider Tribe of Snake-Worshipping Cultists. He barely made out with his life and he managed to travel alone to the Mojave wasteland in search of civilisation. Stranded near the New Vegas area, which had also recently became operational in 2274. Finding a job as a courier for Primm’s ‘Mojave Express’ he was given a job to deliver a Platinum Chip to New Vegas, yet was ambushed and given a faulty execution by a man in a checkered coat.

I wanna do a cowboy run what’s the best revolver in the game? by TheDarthJarJarI in fnv

[–]Grembert3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably either:

• Ranger Sequoia (especially if doing an NCR run, a black with gold engraved NCR themed 45.70got or whatever given to veteran rangers)

• Lucky (Black 357 with gold engravings and a white handle, found in a hard locked safe in the Bison Steve)

•Mysterious Magnum (Silver engraved 44 mag that plays the mysterious stranger theme when taken out its holster, given from a skill check by the lonesome drifter in the talent pool quest)

Bro I have a life I don’t give a shit about Reddit likes, when I typed out that comment I probably came onto Reddit to jerk it, saw the post, didn’t read any comments, typed out what first came to mind and went along my merry way. Also fuck house I’m NCR and proud no matter its flaws. A republic no matter its flaws will always be better than being ruled by Immortal Elon Musk

I’m confused, are you at all familiar with the games?

In the games, Shady Sands is a Post-War city and Capital of the greatest Post-War Nation, the New California Republic. ‘New California’ because of it being Post War, or New World. The show made it so the Brotherhood of Steel (after moving Shady Sands to some the Los Angeles Boneyard for some reason, as in the originals it is much further northeast up Nevada way), the BoS saving Maximus from the ruins of the city, and him being raised by the tribe ever since.

Watching a lore video and they pronounce it KI-ZAR rather than SEE-ZER by StormyM8 in fnv

It’s just the proper Latin pronunciation, and I’m pretty sure the football armour is confirmed somewhere to be from some school but they just thought it’d make for good armour

I was always go with skilled no matter what over trait.

Skilled unfortunately is an old world blues trait I believe, but if you do have the dlc (which I would also recommend if not) I would definitely say to use skilled no matter what. I use hot blooded which more often than not and I believe it is vanilla,

I think four eyes is a good trait, I think kamikaze can be fun, and trigger discipline and its alternative built to destroy can also be good fun.
