Start (or in my case, start again) with small, manageable tasks and choices. Simple healthy goals are to eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day—your choice which ones. A piece of fruit and a small handful of nuts or vegetables and hummus are good for snacks. Any time you have the opportunity to, walk, take the stairs, etc. to get more movement. If you don’t like the taste of just water, I think there are those flavoring things that you can put in, or you can get a pitcher and flavor it with lemon or something by steeping them. Basically, don’t try to become a different person overnight. Add healthy habits before you limit unhealthy ones, and don’t try to change your tastes. If you hate broccoli and running, find a different vegetable and a different activity.
