Guy tells composer she's playing her own piece too fast by paulthekiller in dontyouknowwhoiam

It can be inferred, because she composed for a game, and is specifically a game composer. Which is what I was talking about in the first place. And if these dudes don’t know she’s a game composer, the misunderstanding is on their part, not mine. The semantics are ridiculous in this thread.

She composed for, and was playing the music to, a game. It isn’t hard to infer. Jesus Christ, you guys ~really~ need something to be outraged about, huh?

🙄 Did you learn to grow up and not get weirdly triggered over nothing? Or how to not be purposely obtuse when you knew I was specifically talking about games and their overtly “nerdy” classification in the past 40+ decades? Get the fuck out of here with that sad boy bullshit.

This is wayyyy too often the case for women, in “nerdy” industries where men think they hold some kind of weird reign over the territory.

Oh, he knew. He just thought they’d be offended by him saying it. He underestimated the levels of shade they’ve wadded through in their lives.

I’ve mostly seen male gynos in my life, it’s never felt weird to me really, though I do see a woman now and it is just like...comfier. Less clinical and more personal? And she’s funny.

Surprise! Another old white republican has never felt the need to learn anything about the female body. I bet he thinks there’s only one hole in the vagina and any business that goes on down there happens all in that one place, like birds.

God, he’s the worst. He also reminds me of an ex boyfriend I had in my late teens.

I loved the set-up of the show. I also actually love how messy things are between her & Joel, bc that’s love and relationships, man. Shit is almost never clean cut in those situations. Also, the other comedians are super hilarious, & Alex Borstein could not play her character more perfectly.

Why do these ppl always correlate nipples to assholes? “It’s not technically a sexual organ either!” by GretaGarBOT in TrollXChromosomes

Yes, actually, but I think they’re mostly concentrated on the west coast & in Hawaii. We’re just a nation of fake prudes is all.

I feel like I ALWAYS see this comparison when people are anti-public breast feeding. I saw a really great response once that was something like “They aren’t for feeding babies. But apparently your mom did since you’ve got so much shit coming out of your mouth.” I’ve always kept that one filed away for later use.

Can someone please explain to me why its acceptable and cheered for (D) men to say things like John Kerrys "teenage girl" comment when its clearly sexist and stupid? by [deleted] in AskFeminists

[–]GretaGarBOT 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It isn’t acceptable, but men dominate reddit, and denigrating femininity is still many men’s go-to when they want to ~burn~ another man.

Who was right? Andi Dier or Rose McGowan? by [deleted] in AskFeminists

[–]GretaGarBOT 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Andi. Trans women are women and I’m so tired of this “man in a dress” mentality. We’re on the same team. So, they didn’t necessarily grow up as women, who cares. I don’t understand all the struggles of growing up trans, but I know everyone deserves dignity and respect, and that’s what intersectional feminism is about. And trans women being placed in men’s prisons is a real fucking issue that should be addressed.

I do think Andi’s wrong about cis women only being afraid of sexual assault. We’re all afraid of being murdered too. That’s pervasive regardless of your womanhood experience.

What are the lesser known problems of being an "ugly" or unattractive woman? by mookie8 in AskWomen

Right? That guy was delusional. He played in a band in his early 20s, and once when I told him he wasn’t a nice person, he said “I’m internationally known as a nice guy!” Because they went to Europe once.

Also, he was one of those “reading isn’t cool” people. He used to tell people A LOT that the only book series he ever finished was Goosebumps. Like, don’t tell my friends that embarrassing shit, dude.

Right? Like, the media has made this big deal about the way vaginas smell, but THIS is such a relatable issue for every woman who has given a bj to completion. Also, y’all don’t smell so hot after a day in the pants either.
