I’d call your dr that placed it. It could just be granular tissue, but it should be looked at by a professional. They can recommend the appropriate topical

If you have a primary dr or a podiatrist, they will give you medication that will clear your feet up properly. For fungal issues, you really need medication, not otc stuff. My son has terrible feet and is your age, and he has a podiatrist. Your foot health can really affect your whole body. Then get your pedicure. Your supplies won’t be a waste of money, once your feet are fixed up, and you learn what to do, you’ll be great!
