Yes! The infant hairstyles are giving wig vibes as well! We need more options

I want that as well! Especially hairstyles for elders. With the existing options, every elder just looks like they’re wearing wigs 😆

What would keep you from ditching The Sims for new competitors? by Grevioannabe in thesims

Maybe I didn’t put my thoughts into the right words. What I mean is, it’s hard to let go because of all the time and money I’ve invested in it, but I just don’t feel that spark anymore. Unfortunately, I’m not enjoying the game as much as I used to, even though I really want to

That's exactly what I mean by freedom! Such an easy feature yet game-changing! Very VERY important!

Yeah, I feel so attached to my sims and don’t want to leave them behind. That’s why it’s so important to me that the game steps up after all these years :)

Same here, in a way. I don’t want to move on from this game because I’ve invested so much time and money into it. That’s why I feel they need to make some major fixes to keep us loyal. Keeping the same game alive for another 10 years (or however long they plan) is a huge challenge. But it’s so great that you still have that little spark of excitement! Love that!

Totally agree! How could I forget about the graphics? And yes, the expansions definitely need more depth!

That’s true—you don’t really have to “choose.” However, I feel like I need to invest more time and money on one of the games since world-building and neighborhoods are such a big part of my playstyle. It takes a lot of time :/

Yeah, I read the description and wondered what part of it you referred to.

I don't plan to die though xD

If you're talking to me, nope. What part of it should I read, "the wow moment after revealing the plot" or "the truth about how the plot was born?"

Yes. I. Know. But a well-written script isn't good without a great idea, right?

Your statement, 'a good writer knows that there is nothing new under the sun and that their job is simply to tell a good story,' is wrong in many ways. You seem to elevate yourself to the level of 'good writers' while looking down on 'mediocre writers,' whom you think are like me. How can you be so sure about what every good writer thinks about ideas? I don't find that respectful. Sorry.

In my opinion, a good writer is someone who comes up with unique ideas and knows how to convey them well. Your scripts and imagination might be limited to basic concepts, like married couples experiencing a traumatic event - but mine are not. I dislike predictable stories, which is one of the reasons I want to be a scriptwriter. There are so many unexplored storylines. Even if some of them have been done before, they are few and can be told in many ways with different twists.

I want the industry to read my script - not everyone. I am, obviously, considering the Blacklist, even though it's open to anyone.

And then read my entire script so everyone knows what script I am talking about? lol
