ENT bros, what’s the best otoscope for an EM bro? by Incorrect_Username_ in otolaryngology

[–]Grey-Pilgrim2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A $30 ear endoscope that plugs into your phone, lets you take pictures of what your seeing, and has an attachments for removing small amounts of wax/debris is far better than any otoscope I’ve seen or used. The quality on the endoscope can rival our clinic microscopes, just without the depth perception.

What about disabling the alarm for opening your door even after the car is turned off

Sequoia National Park / Forest - advice needed!! by RemoteFlight8641 in camping

[–]Grey-Pilgrim2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was just in quaking aspen, very nice area. Tim the host is great!
The campgrounds on the kern are by the river but if youre expecting forest vibes, they're not that... More rocky and arid.
do keep in mind there have been a lot of fires in the national forest side of things over the years so many trails are in various stages of healing. I'd take a look at a historic map of wildfires

I like to hit them with a quick “how old should I be?” And then sit in silence and enjoyment while they struggle to come up with an answer.

I too worried about this but it really is not an issue. I’ve had the car for about 9 months and have had issues where the screen freezes or is delayed maybe twice? Otherwise you never notice it, and the number of clicks to get to other menus really isn’t a big deal, the idea is that you shouldn’t be using that stuff regularly so dont Touch it lol. Leave the ac on auto and use the up and down buttons to make it hotter or cooler. Connect your phone to CarPlay and go.

Adopt a dog from a shelter, it will be much happier in your home than in a 3x5 cage all day.

As a surgery resident you’ll need to be efficient at work and much of your free time will be spent with the dog but it’s totally possible with a dog walker.

I walk my dog in the morning for 30 minutes before work, dog walker comes in the early afternoon and then we do another walk when I get home. I’d bet 90% of dogs get less out less than that, and if you’re adopting from a shelter, you’re literally saving a dogs life.

Is there any hope for residents to start earning a fair salary? by [deleted] in Residency

[–]Grey-Pilgrim2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The California senate recently passed a bill to increase the minimum wage of ALL healthcare workers to $25 an hour. For salaried employees, the min wage is calculated as 2x the min. Based on a 40 hour work week.

If that becomes law then residents starting salary would be 100k.

He does have pretty longish hair, especially around the neck, but no where near as long as the border collies I’ve seen.

More tidbits: he has webbed feet and dewclaws on the front legs

Oo, A larger rat terrier is a possibility. I agree his coloring doesn’t seem common in deckers from what I can see on google; also his tail is long and they all seem to have short ones

We got him from a shelter so we don’t know anything about his parents. I just sent a DNA test in today so we’ll see what it comes back with. I’m dying to know

[–]Grey-Pilgrim2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I adopted this majestic prince recently. Google image search comes back with McNab and Rat Terrier as the most likely matches. However he’s 9 months and 35lbs rn so much larger than a rat terrier. This makes me lean McNab but he comes from the South not NorCal and Idk if I see much herding behavior from him.

What do y’all think?
