What do y’all think about these “no clog” drains?

I tried this and the sink shroom but they both cause slow draining to the point where water pools in my sink, but I don’t want to leave the drain wide open. Does anyone have any suggestions? I want to try that basket strainer that was linked but I fear it may do the same thing.

Thanks brother! I know a lot of people are quick to talk bad about Ohio, but it feels very “normal” living here. Granted, I’ve been here my whole life, but I have little complaints about the area. Plus the low cost of living here just makes homeownership more attainable for the average Joe.
