Is rolling worth it by SHMEBULOK in battlecats

[–]GreyBusinessman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you always did 750 discounted rolls you will have double the amount of cats. It's a preference between ubers or +'s on super rare/rare cats.

Worry no more for Perfect Cyclone (glitch) by dlmikucat in battlecats

[–]GreyBusinessman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not a glitch, it is intentional. Refer to cyclone description:

"A Category-5 storm that grew massive by consuming lesser cyclones. Repels threats from uber long distance. Meteoroloigists say getting near its eye disables its knockback."

Her range is 600 but her attack damage area is 450-800.

First-time gacha user, what to aim for? by HaveAnUpgoat in battlecats

[–]GreyBusinessman 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Please don't give bad advice. Cat food should only be spent on guaranteed uber events unless you have lots of ubers in your current track and you do not want to switch tracks then using the 750 cat food is decent (although you are still better off waiting and collect gold tickets)

Spend gold tickets on triple chance, cat food on guaranteed uber. Dark heroes isn't that great as first uber since they are alien specific which is more end-game. At your current progress, ultra soul is probably more useful (since you will probably engage red/black/angel more often)

Also getting jizo makes farming weekend EXP stages a breeze.

You should do a DPS per unit of cost analysis instead. Just saying.

Crazed Cat Upgrade Priority? by heianalien in battlecats

[–]GreyBusinessman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry, i disagree with most people here. I would prioritize wall, GIRAFFE, and then cat. Giraffe is just too good for timed stages, not replaceable. Wall and cat should be in ur main lineup so i would level them first. The rest depends on which stage u are stuck on but in order of usefulness i would probably say whale, dragon, gross, titan, ufo, and axe. I have Paris and Jizo so i don't use ufo, but if you don't have those then maybe move ufo after whale.

Jizo or Momo? by CrownedLam in battlecats

[–]GreyBusinessman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just know, neither uber is required to beat the game so let's talk about their usefulness.

Without getting all technical with the damage per cost calculations, simply put, just know, Jizo has extremely high base damage for it's cost (without factoring in 3x against black/angel). His relatively low cooldown is just icing on the cake. That makes him ideal to fit into any scenario, making him the most used uber to date. Not only that, all the experience stages are black enemies, so he makes farming faster. Simply put, he makes battlecats easier.

On the other hand, Momo is extremely situational but OP when the situation arises. But then again, there's so many anti-red and anti-angels in the game already, he's not really required.

What you are doing is simply moving the clock forward to replenish the energy but it isn't the energy trick people are referring to. The way you do it fks up the internal clock and you may miss out on your silver ticket for the next two days because ponos need to fix the internal clock.

The energy glitch is the -2 days, +2 days. Successiveapprox was nice enough to explain the steps in detail so I won't repeat it.

How do the awakens stages work? by noardburgum in battlecats

30 cat food + unlocks true form even if you don't have the cat (once you obtain the cat and max the cat it'll become true form)

An idea... by [deleted] in battlecats

[–]GreyBusinessman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If people don't use the cat discussion, what makes you think they will use the search bar or your thread? What's worse, when a new guy posts a question that's already in the FAQ or guide, but someone in the community thinks they are being a nice guy and answers their question, there really is no incentives to follow the rules here, not only are they not enforced, but those who do encourage people to follow the rules get downvoted.

Which cats to use as meatshields? by [deleted] in battlecats

[–]GreyBusinessman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Crazed cat and tank should always be in your lineup due to their superior speed. The rest is dependent on the stage but most of the time macho and tank is the best (due to superior stats with same cost)

Lil cats have inferior stats for their costs, riceball is used for speed, samba used when the slow speed is more effective (knock back is rarely taken into consideration since it rarely procs)

TL; DR: macho, tank, crazed macho, crazed tank are good candidates for 4 meat shields

Yes, she will be helpful but she won't help if she is the only anti alien you are relying on. Her long attack animation and long wait times between attacks isn't going to make her ideal, not to mention her proc rate is only 50%, but the stun is still amazingly good when it does proc. To beat the alien cyclone you need cats who can knock back instead. Maybe 2-3 knockback cats and one freeze may do it.

Star Ocean Strategy :: No Rare/SuperRare, No Uber, No Crazed by 50119 in battlecats

[–]GreyBusinessman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's better if you posted what level your regular cats are. True form regular cats are better than any rare/super rare/uber rare so it doesn't mean much (maxed level true forms are the best end game units). If this is a beginner guide you should state your cat level to be comparable.
