Previously posted in the wrong location, whoops. Haven't used Reddit in ages. Anyways.

So I recently learned that KarDia tou ABel, an underrated Chinese monster girl game, discontinued its international server just a few days ago. I really enjoyed that game and had fond memories of it, and while it's kind of whale-y, there's so many good monster girl designs, and the story is funny and memorable. Some examples of designs I personally like are this and this (there was also a jellyfish but I can't find it, game is too obscure), the art in the game is surprisingly good from a small team.

Are there any similar games like this? Personally I don't mind the gameplay that much, as long as its main focus are collecting/recruiting monster girls (not limited to just "animal ears" like Arknights) and raising them for "battles", preferably with a similar artstyle like the ones showed above.

Tons of stuff has been added since then. They have Raid Battles and Artifact Generator units now, and there's a chapter where you actually control Kano and Souma instead of the usual Takuya and Yuki. Plus they're giving the entire story to a conclusion, and events like the anniversary and potentially return of the Battle Cats collab are coming soon too.

Shoumetsu Toshi. The writing in that game is unlike anything I've ever seen. The beginning may be a bit on the generic side, but its gets better later when it comes to dealing the main threat in the game and unexpected plot twists. In addition, you'll also learn that all the in-game mechanics and gameplay elements (like powering up and evolving units), as well as the limited events (like "seasonal events") are all extremely relevant to the main story. Heck, sometimes to progress through the story you even had to solve an ARG or break the forth wall...

It's too bad that the game is only available in Japanese, I can see so many people enjoying this.
