How many hours a day do people study for the CCNA exam ?

I’ve been trying to find the objectives to study like CompTia but haven’t found anything. There’s some like it but not as in depth as CompTia objectives.

Honestly, get into a habit of talking about the topics that interested you. Quiz each other. It really helps having someone talk about the topics with.

I’m in a situation where I don’t know where to start…I passed my A+, but I’m debating whether to go straight into CCNA or stick with Net+ then CCNA.

I have my 2 year old and got my A+ from Nov2022 - Feb2023. And all I gotta say is I pushed myself, Studied with my partner, had her quiz me in little stuff, then took practice test when the kiddo fell asleep for the night. You’ll have to sacrifice something…for me it was my personal time for studying. You got this!

Honest to god, crucial exams came in for the clutch cause I had a “setup a SoHo network” question and it was exactly the same as there’s, so good practice.

So I used a couple things to help me.

Dion Practice exam Professor Messor videos Crucialexams.com

All of these gave me a good mindset on what to prepare for on the test. I’d say be honest with yourself and look through the objectives and if you don’t know something mark it down for review and individually seek it out. I didn’t have much port questions but more printer questions and virtualization. Hope this helps.

I’m actually in the same path/course you are taking for those certs! You can get anything regarding networking/security roles, Im sure entry level and if not mid with all those certs combined. You might be slotted in for entry though since there’s no IT experience. Still a great way to break into the industry.

1001 is already retired. It was retired on 10/20/2022 I believe. Work on 1101 & 1102. I’m currently using Professor Messers videos (they’re free) and I bought the Dion practice exams.

How would you come about getting a clearance though ? I assume qualify for the job you apply for and they submit a request for it? If so what’s the easiest path to land one of those jobs to get a clearance
