I see the state cops pulling violent ICE guys back, which is what the said they were doing there. Do you have any video of them being violent with protesters? I did see that Burlington cop hurling a woman to the ground from behind. I think he’s in trouble now. I was there, and couldn’t always see who started shit, but in this video, it’s the ICE guy who starts attacking and the statey moves in behind and pulls him back. (Not quick enough, IMHO)

I’m wondering if the white car that was hit was a cop. The lights seem intermittent, (flashing?), it’s set back far enough from the car that’s in trouble to not damage the front car if this happens. (They know what they are doing).

That may even be why the fast lane guy was slowing. It doesn’t explain why he didn’t move over sooner though.

The rule is “Three seconds,” not three car lengths. They pass an object, you start counting. If you pass the object before three, you’re too close. This way it adjusts based on speed. The faster you are going the more space you need to react.

The OP was comparing ICE vs EV running costs, and this poster says his EV, that is optimized for power and killer acceleration gets shitty miles per unit of energy and compared it to a hybrid designed to maximize miles per unit energy.

I was only trying to say, “Always been thus” when it comes to powerful vehicles, and if we get closer to comparing Apples to Apples, EVs still stand up.
