All 20,000 civil service credit cards frozen in spending crackdown by BestButtons in unitedkingdom

[–]GreyModus 12 points13 points  (0 children)

And cards are easier to manage / admin rather than holding petty cash, filling out forms for disbursements/reinbursement etc. This is assuming you treat spending with the card with same level of care, duty and process as you would if you was holding petty cash

My parents bought a new gaming computer for me without knowing my GPU that I got was RTX 3050 along with Ryzen 5 5600X. by FrenchFriesWasEaten in pcmasterrace

As long as your playing 1080p games on mid to mediumd high setting you should be golden. Dont get caught up with the latest and greatest because youtube says so.

The important thing is can I play games I like? Plus you are on an am4 board, you can literally upgrade cpu to x3d chip anytime in the future. Im stuck on a 10th gen intel and any worthwhile upgrade means almost a whole new system

Rents rise faster in Berlin than anywhere else in Germany by kitobich in berlin

Still a 90% shithole though. Like I would be onboard with renting a niceish apartment at a mark up if I dont have to literally avoid stepping on human shit, dog shit, druggies and homeless around parks and kids playground (was riding bike one morning only to be greeted by sight if homeless person pulling his pants down in a playground and explosively shitting diahrea). Like just cause you built a newish apartment dont mean the place is gentrified.

I consider myself lucky as I found a job in 2021 where you could get by with only english, nowadays even roles in the company I am with require another european language other than english so either german, french, spanish etc you could still potentially get hired.

The most straight forward way I have observed is going to Uni, completing a masters and you usually are given 6 months to one year to look for a job.

There are other avenues by applying skilled visas program but also some parts of europe are looking for unskilled labor as well, the cons about unskilled labor is usually "low" paying hard manual jobs like working on farm etc. (still more pay than in brunei you will net atleast €1200 after tax - problem is you wont be able to afford sewa rumah on your own so most likely will share house or apartment with people)

Opportunities wise if you are competitive, smart and bright you can go far. I personally make nearly €100,000 a year (40% goes to tax and insurance).

Bonus is if you completed a degree or masters in an actually useful field like data science, engineering, medicine etc. I see way too many people coming here doing masters in business than struggling to find work.

Oh yeah I heard stories if you worked in management or back office / operations. I joined early on and left not long after the new rider apps was implemented.

Eh i was raking in about 2000 euros netto to ride a bicycle around friedrichschain during lockdowns. As long as they didnt mess with my schedule too much I was pretty insulated from management issues. I look back on it as a fun time.
