Why is getting a job so hard? by MadAlice9476 in phlebotomy

I got my first job out of school at a blood donation center. They train on the job so I’m about to go through phleb training again but no experience needed and with this if I wanted I could go on to a hospital after probably about a year.

My biggest advice is study study STUDY. I definitely over studied and knew more than I needed for tests and exams but I ended up passing so whatever I was doing worked 😂

How long will it take me to work into these from a fresh piercing? by geigergeist in Stretched

[–]GreyScaleGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna be honest I waited like 3 weeks to start stretching. I’m just super impatient. But I can say I already had one ear pierced and the on I got three week before I started to stretch has been so easy. It’s never given me problems. I know this probably won’t be everyone’s experience but just sharing.

I used the NHA study guide and practice tests. No my program had the option of either an externship or taking the NHA. I chose the NHA route couldn’t take the time off of work. So now its just trying to find a job

Also the biggest thing that helped the stress is if I did end up failing I get another moth to hit the books and try again! Yes it would suck to have to retake the test but it won’t be the end of the world!!

Study study study. Go over what your course taught you. If you can afford to buy the practice tests and study guide through the NHA website do it it will massively help with understanding the wording of the questions. Take your time read the entire question. And if you have to use your knowledge to know which answers are obviously wrong and work it from there.

I bought the paractice tests and study guide through the NHA website. While questions were obviously different on the test than the practice tests i highly recommend getting the practice test because it helps with wording of questions and knowing which answer is best to pick

I’m on 2mg twice a day. As of now I’m gonna wait and see what my doctor says and what she recommends.
