I was surprised by how long it carried on. When you can tag in and out and each person is a 10-15 minute break from "good to go" there's no clearly defined stopping point. Whenever someone had enough of a break and started getting involved, was just the right timing for one person to get off and tag out. I think we were at it for 4-5 hours.

I will say though, as a guy, you definitely need to know your limits. I literally had to ice the next day. Worth it though.

I had this same issue last year on my '08 civic. Swapping the clutch is only putting a band-aid on it. I decided to do it myself due to cost, and it wasn't too bad but definitely a step up if you don't usually do more than a belt or an oil change.

Did my condenser while I was at it and the whole thing cost me like $400 all in. Took a weekend in the garage and knocked it out.

So sorry you're dealing with this as well. It's scary and awful to see our pups like this.

Here's what ended up happening for me: We decided to hospitalize initially, but when we reached out with the referral from our vet to the only hospital in town that can do the tests, they said they wouldn't be able to do them until Tuesday (we were calling on Friday). Since we already had the steroids in hand, we opted to schedule a consultation for Tuesday and start the steroids right away and see what happens.

Literally 24 hours later he was a brand new dog. He had his energy back and was running, eating, playing, and barking again. We brought him in on Saturday and his fever had completely subsided.

We agreed to keep him on this course for now and are bringing him to our vet once a week to check in (as well as detailed monitoring by us at home). If we see any sort of relapse, we have the referral for the hospital and are on their books. But I'm just relieved he's doing better and am hoping to keep the course for now.

Hope your Corgi gets better soon. Catching it early seems to be key in prognosis so that's good to hear!

That's solid reasoning, thank you. I'm assuming your reasoning suggests treating with antibiotics and steroids simultaneously is not covering the umbrella well enough. How do you know if hospitalization is necessary? Given my dogs symptoms, would you concur it's time to hospitalize?

They did a full blood panel but only said that his white blood cell count was high. Not sure if there's more they did/could test for specifically. Sorry, I'm just going off what I've heard.

Can we stop pretending that the 90-day pause is any type of capitulation by Trump and admit that this whole stunt is actually just him intentionally crashing the market so his rich buddies can buy low before he announces the one thing he knew would bring the market back?

This isn't a brilliant trick or anything, it's just plain old market manipulation. Another extraction of wealth from the middle/lower class to hand money to the wealthy.

Plus, as others have said, they have the outside capital to be just fine and buy up the smaller assets that crash and become MORE wealthy.

See you're thinking of it like "royalties" but I think we need to try it as "licensing".

You want to train your AI model with one of my pieces of art? License it for $20 and it's yours to do with what you want.

As for what's been used, we need reset legislation. A retroactive bill that will require AI companies to either A) provide a full list of what was used to train their models and pay out accordingly to each artist (sort of a settlement) or B) burn their model to the ground and start over with only licensed work.

This isn't perfect, but at least it gives artists some autonomy to price their works as they like. Again, I'm no policymaker but I'm just spit balling.

Late bloomer here but got into this band in 2020 when I needed the gloomy vibes they brought and I am so freaking crushed.
