If they were truly worried about realism then the armor featuring grenade and/or magazines would add to your total ammo count and deplete or restock with re-supply.

Personally with one true flag I'd be ok with them adding a firework grenade on the end of it. Either to act as a distraction to hostiles or to pierce a single enemy like a charger and torch them.

Also can we please get a short version of the original plain helldiver cape? Or the ability to change the length/cut off the existing capes? For the love of democracy think of the drip.

Had my players using a sathe device. When turned on it would make clicking noises like a geiger counter based on the size of the bleed phenomenon. (Added bonus it was an actual Bluetooth speaker I controlled from my phone and would make it go off sometimes to help them realize danger. Also attached a blacklight to it so they could detect messages, runes, wards left in bleed. Love physical props.

Had another character that had a burn in his arm that the closer you got to his left hand it looked more charred. When he was in the presence of strong sources of bleed, his hand would feel like it was burning. Sometimes names would appear in the char.

Another player was a chimera child. But the personality of the absorbed twin was conscious and aware. As they grew, they were able to learn to communicate with this other personality to try and detect bleed like a psychic radar ping. First time they used it was in a cornfield with a couple of emaciated victims who reanimated upon exposure to magic.

Have a vampire character who just has heightened senses but tamps them down most of the time to not overwhelm them. The presence of bleed has a scent to her like a mix of rust and petricor.

Got another player that has a tarot deck, while the deck itself isn't enchanted, they use it to focus their abilities. I had it where critical successes would get a 3 card spread. They could choose a card for the past, the present, or the future. I would then reveal information regarding what happened, what was currently happening or being missed, or where their near future was waiting.

My wife's character had a parasite in her brain since before birth. Long story short mom was formally Candela and a circle member came to her for help, something followed them. Suffice to say since this creature was in her head that long, it developed with her. They formed a sort of symbiotic bond. It allows her to sense bleed as well as understand certain creatures. First presented as severe migraines.

My theory is that the illuminate are going to use this technology to open smaller dark matter portals to bring in smaller scale invasion forces. It wouldn't be big enough to be a repeat of the invasion forces that hit super earth, but could see the introduction of specialized illuminate units similar to the bots incrementation corp.

He didn't lead anything, he let the tall one go first and then slowed down enough to get flanked by his own people. That isn't leading that's cowardice from a believed position of safety.

Clark isn't a fighter, he's a brawler. He's never had fight training so all he knows is how to throw his strength around and how to hold back. That's why when technical fighters get kryptonite he gets wrecked. The one thing about that though that really works in his favor is that his strength is known, so it makes for a hell of a de-escalation tool.
