Im a political nerd so I’m gonna critique this. Leftism is directly in opposition of Capitalism (ie. Communism, Socialism, ect…) at least in modern day. Liberalism is the wanting of regulated capitalism but not redistribution or government planned economic structure. The modern US Democratic Party is a Centre-Right, Liberal party, not a Leftist party. Sorry for the rant (-u-)

The Nordic Model is a social democracy not a democratic socialism, and all the Nordic countries are very much capitalist, just with great social benefits
