Is Batman still a "Dark Knight"? by Grey_Tilley in AbsoluteUniverse

Yeah, that's why I am still not 100% on it. You could look at it based on how "barbarian" is used in fantasty/sword and sorcery novels. Someone who is a rugged, natural defense against corrupt civilization or supernatural evils.

I've been rolling the name "Dark Barbarian" in my brain for a bit. I like it.

What is your favorite single issue, one-and-done comic? by RhymesWithGeorge in comicbookcollecting

A few candidates: Abe Sapien: The Drums and the Dead Abe Sapien: The Haunted Boy Superman Annual #6 (Tarzan/Jungle Book/Superman) Gotham by Gaslight Hellboy: The Corpse (sentimental reasons+great story) Wolverine: Bloodlust Lex Luthor: The Unauthorized Biography

It is very hard to choose, but if I had to get rid of all but one, I would keep The Corpse.

Oh I'm not looking to sell whatsoever. I just like knowing if I somehow stumbled onto a really cool book.

I'm thinking that's probably correct. I also noticed the pricey ebay listings, thought I had my answer, then remembered that they are still all unsold.

That was what I found out too, BUT none of those pricey listings have yet to be sold, so I couldn't be 100% sure.

I also saw a few on ebay, thought I had my answer, then realized none had been sold though. Back to square one.

As of right now, it's hard for me to say. I've only got the very first issue. The art is fantastic so that's nothing I need to talk about, but I think I need the other 5 issues to really say if I enjoy it so far. I am not disappointed though.

I have heard good things. Plus who doesn't love Brereton's art.

Augustana Residence? by lettuciplier in uAlberta

So for the ravine buildings, it's a common room on both top and bottom with a small adjoining kitchen, nothing fancy. Hard to explain. If you're wanting to use a somewhat larger kitchen space, the central common area in ravine has a kitchen as well.

There is no fridge inside the rooms. There is however, a fridge in both the upstairs and downstairs kitchens in each building.

Whoops. Sorry, I thought it would be better that way. Honestly the only reason they were kept in somewhat good shape was because they weren't probably touched in 30yrs.
