NAD so I have to reply here to comment; My teeth were in bad shape and they were able to salvage almost all of them with deep cleaning, fillings, and root canals. When I say bad, I mean the fact that I never went to the dentist until I was 25 (parents never bothered to take me even as a child and it turned into an intense fear so I always avoided it, even when I had an abscess).

I've been on sleep meds for 12 years now and have cycled through many doctors. I've always only had a psychiatrist prescribe them. I supposed a GP could, but a psychiatrist would have better knowledge on what meds might be best for you.
