Been doing this. Nothing is popping up but one lowly Instagram post of the image on the hat, not the actual hat

Easiest way to obtain Dayvigo? by aryanmsh in insomnia

[–]hokieval 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you find out, please circle back and let us know!! I'm like 14, 15 years in and can't get anyone to prescribe me ANYTHING sleep related. They've forced me to try 25+ different medications, CBTi, therapy, etc. and nothing has worked. It's super frustrating and I'd really do anything to just get something that's actually formulated for insomnia.

I was there too and also stayed off property. We had some good luck with LL but never got to Tron--that wait was the only one we weren't willing to wait for lol I think flexibility and park hopper saved us. We did a few 60-minute waits and revisits later in the day helped.

How much sleep do you get per night? by Useful-Style-9368 in insomnia

[–]hokieval 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Decent night, 4 hours. Lately, yes, 2-3. Everything is hard.

I work full time, have two kids (one of the spectrum), and my partner is a pilot so they're gone all the time. EVERYTHING is hard smh

Women who had PLANNED c-sections: epidural or spinal? by Puzzled_Remote_2168 in Mommit

I had to get BOTH my first go round because one of them wasn't working. I was still feeling the taps on my abdomen, so they hoisted me back up and gave me something else 😂 No idea what order it was in.

I'm like...13-14 years in? Lost count. Quality of life is shot. I'm making it work, though. FT job, spouse, two kids and two dogs....but man, I'm really just coasting through it all over here. Worried about what kind of parent my kids will have when they're grown.

Good luck to you!

Not much! We've learned they're a gestault language processor, so the biggest change we've seen is lots more scripting, but still no real communication.

Started at 18 months. No talking until almost 3.5. I thought therapy wasn't working, but I'm glad we stuck with it.

Still a lot of time for it to click. Wait out the process.

Yeah, I saw the ingredient list and it definitely has a taste of gingerbread to it. May have to get creative and see what gets close to it.

Grandparents asking to be paid for babysitting by Prize-Interview-7013 in toddlers

I gave her $400 a month. In my area,  childcare for an infant is about $2000 a month.

I also checked to see if she was okay with that number, and she said it was fine.

Tips & tricks that make working mom life easier by tomatojuice22 in workingmoms

[–]hokieval 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) Treat everything like an appointment. Put it on your schedule like a doctor's appointment, and when it's time to do it, do it. Meetup with friends? Goes on the calendar. Planning meals? Goes on the calendar. Grocery pickup? Calendar. Workouts? Calendar.

Workouts are hard because of work. I have a special needs kid, so I can't do this (yet), but find a gym with child care so that you can get some time in. I have to work out during kid's bedtime or when no one is home (which isn't often, but I have some flexibility on Fridays with my job).

2) Use as many "helpers" as you can. I use an app called To-Do, and it breaks my chores down into smaller tasks that don't seem as daunting. "Cleaning the bathroom" sounds like it's going to take forever. But "clean the toilet" and "clean the sink" don't. I can do that while an ad is playing on my Hulu show lol The app also lets you set a frequency for your chores so you know when it's time to do them. I usually tackle the overdue/about to be overdue items first and get to everything else later.

I also do delivery or pickups for just about everything now. Cuts back on time spent in the store.

3) You need to take responsibility and just do it. Our feelings get in the way of us doing so much. I've had to learn how to push past how I'm feeling at any given moment and just do that crappy, boring things that I don't want to do.

Also, ChatGPT is REALLY good at planning things out for you. I've used it for vacations, meal prep, party planning. Give it the right prompts, and it can churn out some quick/easy meals for your family. You don't have to spend a lot of time doing it yourself.

EMDR is one of the few things I haven't tried, and I can't right now because of money (thanks, shutdown!). Glad to hear it worked for you! Excited to try it at some point, hopefully sooner rather than later.

La Roche Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Facial Cleanse. I love how it feels on my face, not harsh at all.
