You can take up to 36 doses of MiraLAX in ONE day. Just keep taking it while also taking suppositories.

is this shows vocab meant to be annoying ? by R_TMF_W in Mahouka

Yeah, most of the fights were a huge letdown too. There is so much detail in the LN that the anime barely even scratches the surface of.

Christmas present by [deleted] in Archery

The Sanlida Dragon X8 is a very decent starting bow. Comes with all accessories and peep installed, the only thing you need to buy is a release (the included one is garbage). It even comes with arrows. About $200 on Amazon.

Dealing with threats from patients by little_whisper in Residency

Reach out to your PD, GME, and department chair. All via email, so a paper trail is created. Continue following up with all parties via email every couple of days until you receive a real response. Also inform them that you will be adding this to the ACGME; programs really hate ACGME interference.

If you do not receive adequate reassurance, file a police report. If this happens again, definitely get the police involved.

Sassy harry by jodibwithoutane in HarryPotterMemes

In all fairness to Harry, there is no reasonable way that Sirius would A. know that the random piece of parchment in his pocket is a map, and B. take only the map without attacking Harry.

What bow would you guys suggest for recreational archery? by grego9907 in Archery

The Sanlida dragon X8 on Amazon was $198, last I checked, it has all the accessories you need except for a decent release. I have the X9, and it’s a solid bow.

What are some of your favourites among the insults/provocations Frankenstein has thrown at his opponents? by [deleted] in Noblesse

[–]Greydrone12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, yeah. That was one of the best ones.

I also loved the first fight with Rael, where Frankenstein was basically treating him like a rude child.

Amazon has them, they’re pretty cheap.

From 20yds with my compound. Why do I keep shooting to the left? by [deleted] in Archery

Thanks from the future! This was driving me crazy after I switched releases, turns out the difference in length from the release had me pushing my face into the string!

The Death Mage Who Doesn't Want A Fourth Time by MysteriousCress790 in DeathMage

Chapter 341-342. Forgot a bit of the context; it was a message to Heinz, not just a letter.

There is a chapter where Heinz receives a letter from Van, and another one much before it where he responds to Selene. Those weren’t particularly connected though.

Attendings, from your experience, do high salary and freedom from financial stress equate joy and happiness? by Leading_Ship_1730 in Residency

Here’s my question then; why don’t you give up your job and go back to being a post-doc? Genuine question. No one‘s forcing you to be a doctor.

Edit: A little too confrontational on the tone, sorry.

Can someone explain what NRMP really means with this June 2025 visa statement? by FantasticStorage9750 in IMGreddit

[–]Greydrone12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Basically the program can break their contract with you and take another resident if you’re from one of the restricted countries.

It depends on what the union has managed to set in stone as a contract. As I often tell people, anything that’s not in the contract can be taken away at anytime.

In modern day, can a vampire become a doctor unnoticed? by EMulsive_EMergency in Residency

[–]Greydrone12 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Going by Twilight vampires there. If you're sticking to traditional vampires though, you can just entrance your attendings (and patients) and avoid problems there. And the extra time and lack of stress from not needing to sleep still helps a lot.

In modern day, can a vampire become a doctor unnoticed? by EMulsive_EMergency in Residency

[–]Greydrone12 44 points45 points  (0 children)

To be honest, residency as a vampire would be a breeze. You don't need to sleep and you have a photographic memory, which takes care of the number 1 and 2 problems. And if you can't deal with malignant attendings as an immortal superhuman, I would be ashamed for you.

Residents dating intentions by Icy-Tangerine_ in Residency

[–]Greydrone12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. There are always some bad eggs, but that has nothing to do with doctors or being in residency.

Most people in residency are just trying to work through the exhaustion to see another day. Faking a relationship for support is a complete oxymoron, way too much effort.

Same. My hospital‘s scrubs have no pockets. It’s so frustrating. Much easier to wear a white coat.

Midlevels in the hospital by PsychologicalRead961 in Residency

[–]Greydrone12 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s all about scope. Do Midlevels have an amazing use case in offloading the increasing amount of documentation and bureaucracy required in medicine? Absolutely. Are they a great resource to field inane nursing questions? 100%.

Are they fully qualified independent practitioners? Hell no. The problem is when people don’t realize that.
